My new king pin classified two minutes out of the box that I just rma'd crashes in both LN2 bios and default bios when I use k-boost in precision x. It feels like its making my computer run slower and sluggish.

Is a card like the kingpin classified being that its designed to be OCd, if you can't even run k-boost for an OC does that qualify for an RMA?

Sorry, Im not happy right now. I waited over two weeks to receive this card. If you accept this rma Ill more than likely have to fork up another 30 dollars plus the shipping. I dont have that type of money right now.

How does the card run when not using k-boost?

Its running like crap, the more and more it heats up it seems. I keep having to restart my computer.

Like the mouse and video slows down to almost blinking across my screen rather than smooth, like usual on on integrated.

Come On! give EVGA a break they are very busy with the new cards, maybe they just didn't have the time to even look at your card

Did you clear off your old drivers and reinstall them?  Many people use DDU (Dispaly Driver Uninstaller) to give their new cards a clean slate when updating.

Another thing to check is you PCIe cables.  The KP requires a 3rd PCIe and I recommend running a single cables to each slot on your PSU and not using the 2-in-1 type.

Lastly, check your GPU temperatures to make sure the card isn't throttling.  A bad fan or poor mount could be an issue.

Use My Associates Code and SAVE 5% - 10% on your next EVGA purchase.

Submit another RMA. If you just got the card back, EVGA will more than likely send you a prepaid label, as this is not a normal occurance. Not many cards fail right after they come back from an RMA.

Since this is about an RMA, more than the card itself, i am going to move this to the warranty section so it is easier for the correct people to find it.

Hi. Thank you, Im super excited with your response. Sorry if I seemed rude, I was frustrated at what I saw may have ended up putting me in a tighter financial situation at the moment. Maybe delaying getting my rig up and running again. I dont mind the way you suggested working this out. I can;t PM at the moment as I dont have enough post (as of this post) but I'll get right on getting the information you need.

    Thank you again EVGA!

    "Hello,

I am contacting you today with further support options on your recent RMA card which was received DOA.

Instead of the standard RMA options, I would like to offer you a complimentary Advanced RMA ( https://www.evga.com/support/ear/ ).

With the Advanced RMA we will also upgrade the 780 Ti to a 1080 Classified edition ( 08G-P4-6386-KR )

If you have already shipped the 780 Ti into EVGA I will upgrade the shipping speed to 2 day shipping and you will still receive the 1080 Classified replacement.

Please let me know and I will be happy to work with you further.

    Thank you+

EVGA is hooking it up because I spent the time to thank them for their work even if one defected card happened. These guys are hard working people. Make sure you appreciate that :)

    Sup?

Yes that's very nice deal, more power than GTX780Ti SLI.
I will upgrade to GTX1080 (from GTX780Ti) if GTX1080Ti stay to expensive in Europe.

I live by the idea that a little respect goes a long way. Especially when its so easy to be an **** over the internet now-adays. We're all real people man. Its hard to remember that behind a company logo there are lives being lived. Im so stoked right now that they offered me this deal. It really made my year of struggling to save up for VR and a new card so much easier.

They've just made a number of costumers for life. All my gaming buddies are really happy for me and thrilled that there is a company like EVGA in business to help us out. I hope everyone involved has a great day and good on you guys for personalizing your image,. It's a tough step for a business to take but EVGA pulls it off with character.

Wow, this great to hear. I know it's frustrating with having to RMA  a product and then to another one that needs RMA...wow. I'm very glad EVGA was able to provide you not only with a replacement but a very nice upgrade.

I would post pics but its all emails. I've been doing a lot of research on the 1080 classy now. Looking at base speeds and average OC speeds on air.  I don't believe they made a waterblock for the classy card which is fine. I'm really enjoying my day.

Ill try and post a pic of the box when I get it in.

Also the 1080 armor looks sick. I rock red in my case so Im really excited to add it to my rig.

I think waterblock for GTX780 Classified, GTX780Ti Classified, GTX780Ti K|NGP|N Classified, GTX980 Classified and GTX1080 Classified is same. Maybe even GTX980Ti Classified. But I'm not 100% sure. Anyway owners could use one block for 3 generation. Kepler-Maxwell-Pascal (Classified/K|NGP|N). I doubt something similar will repeat in future even for reference models, for custom no way.

GTX1080 Classified is extremely nice graphic card.
Nicest from GTX1080 series. You can use EVGA Power Link to improve cable management.
