Interesting...   I changed my app_config on my boxes to test it out.. some machines it sped up and others it added 10-20minutes of time...  Changing from .25 to 1 CPU

I can do some faster with a one to one and then some faster with a two to one, But.
The More CPU you give it the Less of your GPU will it use, when I was running one to one my GPU dropped to 68% usage from 89%

Look at the times;
A) 1 Task at 10 minutes
B) 2 Tasks at 15 minutes
C) 2 Tasks at 25 minutes
What you would pick?

Me it would B
Bill1024 has a post about this but I cannot seem to find it.

Only for Computers that have MORE than One GPU Installed.
ATM I am back to Ground Zero with No Config File, Need to restart the computer and Re-Set the Project to test this and have NO Tasks waiting to run.
You will be surprised.

Maybe this is the Key?
dnetc-gpu-1.3.ini

[buffers]
allow-update-from-altbuffer=no
buffer-file-basename=in
output-file-basename=out
checkpoint-filename=chkpoint

[misc]
run-work-limit=-1

[triggers]
restart-on-config-file-change=no
exit-flag-filename=exit
pause-flag-filename=pause

[display]
progress-indicator=off

[processor-usage]
priority=9

[networking]
disabled=yes

[logging]
log-file-type="no limit"
log-file=stderr.txt

[rc5-72]
random-subspace=1339

This Setting is what I am looking at restart-on-config-file-change=no
If I set to use 1 to 1 and I only have one task left it will still use both GPUs.
It is fine if I have 2 Tasks Running.

Now going on 24 Hour Run Time.
The 1080 Ti Kicks Butt.

My two GTX980Ti running one unit is really loading the GPUs .
I run them around 1375 and their temps were going up to 60c Room is 75f
One has the EVGA Hybrid kit and the other has a H100 installed and the temps folding or GPU grid run at 45-50c
One card even reduced itself to 400mhz.

So I lowered them to 1275 and lowered the added volts back to 0 and set max % to 100.
Temps down to 54c
They seem to be running good and stable now. Will have to keep an eye on them.

We are in for some cool and maybe snow this week so for me a good week to run GPUs.
I added my 3rd 1080 Ti in the mix tonight as well, Took me most of the day to install the Water Block and test and even Benchmark before I started to run Moo! on it. Going well ATM @2113MHz and will let it run overnight and see what she looks like in the AM.

It was my intention to run MOO on my 1070 and not the 2nd card(970) but it looks like both are working the same WU. Times are okay at a little more than 13 minutes. I was coming here to post that I wanted to switch over to linux mint and see if I could get better times or more credit. It will have to wait until later anyway, but I wasn't aware that both cards were working. I did not set it up this way on purpose.

Funny. Yours are working and I can't get both of my AMDs to work.    HD6450 and HD7000 series.
Can't seem to get them to both work at the same time.
They are both seen by BOINC

Looks like you need to tell BOINC to use all your GPUs, otherwise only the most capable one is used.  Create a cc_config.xml file with the following contents.  This gets saved into your BOINC data directory (on my Lubuntu box it's /var/lib/boinc-client).  Once saved, you'll need to restart the BOINC client.

<cc_config>
  <options>
    <use_all_gpus>1</use_all_gpus>
  </options>
</cc_config>

Reason why I suggested the <use_all_gpus> is because of the "(not used)" message

@ yodap Use an app_config.xml file and no cc_config.xml file unless you are running BU*ASICs.

<app_config>
   <app>
     <max_concurrent>2</max_concurrent>
     <name>dnetc</name>
     <gpu_versions>
         <gpu_usage>1.0</gpu_usage>
         <cpu_usage>0.2</cpu_usage>
     </gpu_versions>
   </app>
</app_config>

Make the change then go to options Read config files
Then Activity Suspend and Exit the Client software and restart your PC.

PS NxtGenCowboy sorry for your AMD lost of use I have a Pair of R9 290X Water Blocked I can sale you dirt cheep.
I replaced them with a pair of GTX 1080 Ti cards and never looked back.

This is the default for Moo! .2 CPU and ALL your GPUs running one Task.
Use the above app_config.xml file to run 2 tasks 1 on each GPU.
Time wise on the 1080/1080 Ti are less than 10 minutes.
On my 980 rig 1 tasks takes about 24 minutes and running 1 Task with .5 CPU and 2 GPUs takes less 10 minutes

Well with up to 7 Inches of Snow coming this weekend can we extend this Months POTM through Sunday
With this cold weather I have been having here in the Denver Metro Friday Night I will run ALL my GPUs on Folding to give me an estimate for 2017 Time Zone Challenge this year.
This Years Hardware
3 1080 Ti *New
2 1080 * New
4 980 HC
2 980 Hybrids.
Tonight this is also the same hardware running Moo!

Well, I'm out for the rest of this POTM.

My number came up in the EVGA step up queue, and am now without my 1070.  I owe the team a few days of Moo when I get the 1080.

Maybe I need to drop my folding. I didn't know this was a gpu project.

I'll be in with you, both my GTX980Ti in the same box do not like running this project.
They keep lowering down to 400 mhz. I just ran folding over night no issue, never an issue with PG or collatz, or Setti.
The TitanX should be here by 7pm when the UPS comes. Going to swap some GPUs around. Will brake up the 980Ti SLI.
I'll have these three in three different boxes and see how they run.
In the mean time I am enjoying a quiet house with no systems running at all, even if is just for a few hours.
