I would rather just pay the price gouge than stand in line all night but thats just me.
With that being said, Im definitely jealous. Definitely want one but I cant bring myself to pay the price hike.

I'm looking forward to the rumored SNES Classic. That system had so many good games, so I'm hopeful they have some of the top RPGs included in the lineup.

I'm about 3 hours into the original Zelda. hahahha im stuck a little bit, but I don't want to cheat. Not yet.... I also beat all 5 levels of Excitebike in about 12 minutes - lol

80's kid so I had the NES in its prime. Good times and lived on that thing. I had zero interest in this classic even if they release the other snes etc. Been there done that kinda thing for years when those consoles came out.

Hey, but I experience the NES classic with my 4 kids. I get to see them experience games like Super C, Punch out, etc... To experience my childhood fames with my own kids is pretty damn cool

At least you don't have to blow into a cartridge and wipe it down with alcohol and then prey to the 8-bit God in hopes to play Link. (Why are there no more Link games? Its always The Legend of Zelda.)

I still have an NES and it is hooked up to a CRT. CRT's are better than LED's and Plasmas when it comes to the old consoles.

I cant relate. No kids myself. But I do know when kids play those kinda games today. They are like WTH is this? You actually played this crap? lol They don't get it of course because they did not live back in those days. Nintendo was king of the hill back then man. Talk about a fall from grace. Sega as well. NES and MasterSystem=gaming paradise in all its glory at that time.

It was the last shipment, as far as I know; no Best Buy location will be getting any more of them. People who snagged them had been calling and asking, and even then a bunch ended up going home without anything to show for their time in line (at my local Best Buy), because they only received about 20 and there was a significantly larger line than that.

Everyday I was googling Nes Classic and seeing what popped up. I read on the Sunday (4/21/2017) that BestBuy's were building up the stock on the NES classic so they could sell all of their last stock the next morning. After seeing that a high up Best Buy representative verified the internet's stories, I went and showed up at the BestBuy at 3:00 in the morning - with a blanket and 2 pillows and attempted to sleep through a rain storm. In the morning, 1 hour before the store opened they handed out vouchers. I was lucky to score 1. I was 5th in line - they had 20 total.

Today I modded it. The system can hold 300 mb. The original 30 games was 25 mb. Now I have 95 games. Snes, nes, n64, sega, and mame (arcade games). It's awesome! By the way, I have only added titles that I have owned before
