The motherboard won't boot and no error codes (no beeps either).
It worked fine on initial setup but I decided to rearrange the wiring from my PSU to make it look cleaner and I put some cabling on the the CPU overclocking 12v input to the motherboard and now it doesn't boot but the fans spin up for about 1\2 second and then powers off.

I have seen in one of the forums that the cable(s) could be using less than 12v as that cable and the 12v cable will both fit the input on the motherboard and may kill the motherboard.
I was unaware that this could happen.
I have been custom building my own computers since 1991 and this is the 1st time that I have seen a cabling problem like this.

So have I also killed my CPU, RAM or just the motherboard?

Use the original cables that came with the PSU and start from there.

Seems there was some type of mix up.  It happens to the best of them.

Use this Associate Code at your checkouts or follow these instructions for Up to 10% OFF on all your EVGA purchases:

Well I got the motherboard some what running except that I can't get into the bios and no video out (with a known good card).
The monitor will not detect a HDMI output (27" Ben Q).
Tried all three bios using the switch, no joy.
Still no beeps and the led for error codes/temps just display the letter "C".
Where can I find a new bios chip for the motherboard (I checked eBay and other sites with no luck).

Did you bump your Bios Switch on the Motherboard?
You can set the Bios Switch at a mid point between 1 & or 2 & 3 and the MB will not Post to Bios.
Also how much Memory do you have installed, the more memory the Longer it takes the X99 To Post the First time to the Bios.

Register your X99 Classy and call or email EVGA's tech support for a free BIOS chip. They are TINY, so be careful when swapping it out. http://www.evga.com/about/contactus/

Make sure all the wires are fully seated, sometimes the modular ends get tight before they are fully seated.

Classy CPU power (EPS) on the MB, there are two 8-pin terminals, try the other one (item 29 on page 8 & 9 in Part 1 manual)

Good news is that you didn't kill the motherboard. If you get any error code that means that logic is still working. Completely dead motherboard just lit IIRC two LEDs. One for set BIOS and one for connected voltage.

I've killed one Classy myself so speaking from experience. :P

Perhaps indeed new BIOS chip will solve the issue. Seems that you've jumped into some specific initialization issue.

Have you tried to start the board with Turbo mode ON? (small switch near debug LED) It's excellent troubleshooting tool, it basically cuts all bells and whistles from the system. CPU will be working at 1.2GHz but it will give a chance to evaluate. Basically Turbo is designed for LN2 or very high conventional OC when you boot at low speed and then with a flip of a button jump to extremely high frequencies after system is up, but it works equally well the other way round.

I check that all the power cables (and all other cables) are firmly seated.
I tried powering it up with no ram, no hard drives no video cards.
I did not pull the cpu however.
    Still no beeps or codes.

After some testing (with the PCI-E power cable connected) the white power led comes on and the red bios led comes on, also the turbo light turn's on (if I turn it on).
None of the PCI-E led's are on and no beeps and no error codes.
    No video.

However, if I disconnect the PCI-E power cable off the power supply (EVGA 1300W G2, known to be good) then the bios red light comes on, the white led power light comes on, the red vcc led comes on, the yellow vsm led comes on and all the pci-e red leds comes on and a red fivr led comes on (located under the cpu) as well as all the fans start spinning and the Corsair pump starts working (Corsair logo lights up).
    Still no video.

I'm beginning to think that it's not the bios.
    I'm stumped at this point.

Either its your PSU, MB or you have your a PCIe cable connected to the CPU power header instead of the designated CPU power cable to the header.

The PSU was running just fine in another computer.
The PCIe cable was connected to the supplemental PCI-E 6 pin power connector on the bottom right of the motherboard and to the 6 pin perifi 1 on the EVGA 1300G2 power supply.
Does anyone know how to use the  Probe It Header?

How long have you had the original X99 Classified and aren't you just going to RMA it if the 2nd boards boots up fine?

Less than 6 months, can't register the product because I don't have the serial number (threw out the original packaging) and it's not on the motherboard.

Sorry but serial number is NOT on the motherboard.
There are stickers with bar codes and numbers but not the serial numbers.

bcavnaugh you were right but the S/N was on the backside of the motherboard  and not on the front.
I only found it after pulling the motherboard from the case.

Odd only because mine is on the Front but glad you found yours.
