carrying 4k @ 60hz
50ft?
it seems a regular 2.0 HDMI cable from amazon clearly does not work.
Any help i'd greatly appreciate it. e.g. links to products.

    Tried a fiber optic 50 foot cable (around $300) and high end monitor (around $700) and it couldn't even carry the entire 4k resolution half the time, let alone at 60 hz.

    A bit pricey, but if you really need to insure that the signal can be carried out far enough I think this is what you need. You'll need at least a CAT6a cable that is 50 feet long as well along with another HDMI cable(One for input box/One for output box). An STP Ethernet cable may also help protect the signal. Sounds like these boxes may not be an all in one solution if you are using it to carry audio.
     
    (I can't post links yet unfortunately, but if you go to Amazon and type in "HDMI 4K Extender" you'll get results with one being from AV Access that's $130)
