What is it, can I remove it or maybe I can revese it so this could be on the PSU side and not on the VGA or MB side?

cant imagine this looking good next to my beautiful sleeved cables

in 8+6 its also there, other PSUs dont have it so it makes me wonder...

It's a capacitor. The cap is there to decrease the ripple rate along the wire. If you remove it, the PSU will still work fine as intended, but the ripple rate will definitely be increased and potentially make your PSU unstable.

I should also note that contrary to what you seem to believe many other PSU's do infact have these, It's a pretty common cable feature.

That's a capacitor, and wouldn't be recommended to take it out from the original cable (they will prevent voltage ripple at your 12v rail, for what I read).

Some people have removed it without noticing any performance drop.

Also, if you want to keep the capacitors, there is a good link for sleeving at a 1200 G2.

    thanks

this link is what i was acctualy asking for, i should just change the location of this capacitor so it would not be seen so close to VGA and it should still work fine without being seen

If you relocate the caps, make sure they go back on the correct polarity or they will pop first time you use it!
