Hi all,

I have a question regarding the blink indicator of the FTW K. I recently got this board coupled with a 5930k, and got everything hooked up. When I go to power on the computer, nothing happens, but there's a pulsing green light that is the power button on the board. I try to turn the motherboard on by that button as well as the case power button, but nothing happens, no spin ups, no other LEDs, nothing. I can't seem to find any information with regard to what this pulsing light means?

I've tried clearing CMOS, and made sure all of the power connections are in place. I've also tried dropping my old combo back in and it boots up fine, so it isn't a PSU issue (Supernova G2 750w).

Thanks for your time!
Rob

Hi and Welcome to the Forums...

What do you mean by "dropped my old combo back in"?  What the's old combo?  Knowing this info may help other members offer suggestions on your issue.

My old (current) combo is an i5-3570k/Asus P77-V LK/Mushkin DDR3 ram. I ended up getting the board RMA'ed as it had a few days left on the warranty, so hopefully that'll fix whatever the issue was!

When u get new board just put the cpu connections and the 24 pin power connection to the board nothing else and c if it powers on turn power off then add a peice then power on if it powers on add another component and repeat cycle until you get your flashing power problem when you find what component that causes this replace it for me it was a 3.0 cable good luck
