I have thought about buying this card and putting it in my main rig next to my 1070. So I am also very curious on how well it performs for folding and crunching.

After Folding & Crunching on a 1060 3GB card for a few weeks now I am thinking that the low end should be a 1070.

1050ti scores just under 200 000 ppd.  Best bang for your buck is a 1070.

Unfortunately the 1070 is out of my price range for a machine dedicated solely to folding.

I would at least go with a 1060 3GB Card then.
Remember that the Slower the Card the Longer Tasks will take to run that will take more Elect Power and Time.

I'm getting 3 of them in the gaming edition with super cloak next week I should have the PC up running once I get everything running. I'll post the days folding and then do a week follow up.
