Nulltime
Any idea how much faster this is than a Titan XP v1 or a 1080 ti?

About 10 to 15 fps faster than the original pascal titan x. https://forums.evga.com/tm.aspx?m=2598971

Yes. Non-LED bridges will run at 400MHz.

Hey not a problem, I buy what makes me happy, I found out when I was still in my teens never play yourself cheap with anything in life that's when people get buyers remorse, This is nothing more then a hobby for me when I'm bored, industry hardware is not going to stand still for no one, but hey man you should never call people stupid for spending their money on something they fill they want.it starts to sound like your jealous

Transferring this high school viewpoint into adulthood is precisely why people feel there should be no responsibilities or accountability. They're called millennials.

And constantly purchasing things you don't need enables corporations to sustain higher than required prices because they're aware that idiots will always accept what is unjustified.Benchmarks haven't even been released yet and already people are ready to buy simply because they read 3840 CUDA cores. This doesn't justify being labelled an idiot because you can afford it?

Purchasing an overpriced product makes it seem like you want people to be jealous.

And I recommend another hobby. Try English.

Re: Nvidia does it again 2017/04/07 11:47:41 (permalink)
I'm surprised how many people on the internet fail to see Nvidia's strategy here.

"AMD Vega must be really good, Nvidia is on their heels!"
"Nvidia is screwing us!"
"Nvidia is dumb, they have dumb marketing."

Nvidia's behavior the last few months (1080 Ti release, price drops, Titan Xp) is a classic case of price discrimination.  It has nothing to do with Vega.  Nvidia is actually very smart for doing this.  Most people who were willing to spend $600-800 on a GTX 1080 have already done so.  Lowering the price now saturates the demand for those who were only willing to spend $500-600.  They were able to get $600-800 from some people, and now $500-600 from others.  It's called price discrimination and I'm surprised the internet doesn't see it.  Nvidia isn't screwing us.  They're doing something painfully obvious and there's enough information out there for everyone to make an informed purchasing decision.  If you purchased a Titan XP and got mad about 1080 Ti or Titan Xp, then you failed to take history into account.  Remember Kepler?  Pascal and Kepler have been nearly identical in this regard, minus the change in the number series for the refresh.  Nvidia also isn't dumb when it comes to marketing.  They're trolling the community with their naming-scheme and I find it funny.  They saw that guys like Linus were calling Titan X Pascal the Titan XP, so they went ahead and named the full GP102 card the Titan Xp to cause confusion just for the fun of it.  Do you really think that would impact the sales of a $1200 graphics card?  No.  Someone bent on buying a $1200 card will not change their purchasing decision because of a product name.  This isn't the low-end GPU market (RX 400 series from AMD) where people base their purchasing decisions based on a 1FPS difference or a brand name.

In other words, the internet as a whole completely misunderstands Nvidia and it's sad, yet comical seeing all of the outrage.
