PSU is EVGA 750W NEX B1.....   So My the noise that is emitted from PC is sorta like that radiation noise from mw2 lol (being serious here) or that radiation counter. Thought it was my GPU since it coil whined at full load, but after listening closely it might be the power supply and hearing some "coil whine"..

Here is a sound clip. Tell me what you think. https:// clyp.it/ubfhqij3    Delete the space in between / and c to get the link (you probably already know this).  Also the power supply (i think it is the psu) will make this noise even while at idle. No damage done since i have had this psu for 2+ years, just and annoyance....Never really gave it thought til today.

Doesn't sound like coil whine to me. Sounds like a bad fan bearing.

Hmm will have to look into what that is, as i'm not too sure. Do you think it warrants an RMA? I do plan on getting a 650w G3/G2, but might as well RMA if i need it in the future.

Coil whine is more a problem with GPUs or with very poor made PSUs. Normaly you are not able to hear coil whine from a PSU. The coil is much bigger and mostly it can't vibrate so fast. Could be a problem with the fan. At full load the PSU has to deliver much more power and gets hotter, so the fan must spin faster when it's damaged, you hear strange noise.

i wouldnt wait around for the fan to die before sending it in for RMA! your psu will eventually cook itself if the fan no longer cools it...
