Hello guys. i just started folding but i have error 'ERROR:Receive error: 10053: An established connection was aborted by the software in your host machine.' is this important thing? how can i fix this?

Are you using a proxy or have a proxy configured? It seems related to that: Check this article. PS: Sometimes programs like antivirus work as proxies, so it can be that too.

I dont have any anti-virus program and also i allow fahcilent from firewall. I didnt change program proxy

Are you Folding on your CPU if so how many Cores or Threads do you have it set to? What User ID are you Folding Under?

I've never seen this error message and have searched the Folding Forums and found two recent posts with this error. Both posts are from the Open-Beta clients, FAHClient v7.4.15 and v7.4.16 and this error is caused by the (CPU) Protein Viewer (or FAHViewer).
"ERROR:Receive error: 10053: An established connection was aborted by the software in your host machine".
This error starts appearing every few seconds in the log when the (CPU) Protein Viewer is opened, and stops when I close the Protein Viewer.

Have you ever completed a single WU? With How Many Cores or Threads? 4 5 6 7 or 8 You can only use 4 6 8 Cores or Threads. Also the CPU Servers have issues all the time so it could be their Servers are having issues. Recheck your Firewall and Internet Device you are using as well.

Are you using version 7.4.4 of the FAH client?

There seems to be a problem with https://folding.stanford.edu/home/ page not found, which is probably related to the reason why the Web Control (folding.stanford.edu/client/) also is not working. See an "old" thread about this problem: Cant run WebControl Most of us do not use Web Control, but prefer Advanced Control (right click on the FAH system tray icon and select Advanced Control). You can stop Web Control from opening by removing " --open-web-control " from the end of the Target line of your Desktop shortcut/icon and from the shortcut in your Startup folder. oznynr

FAHClient 7.4.4 is the current Public Release version and is for Windows and Linux. There is currently a problem with folding.stanford.edu websites (see above), so you can not download this version right now if you want to try it. But as long as you do not use the Protein Viewer and use Advanced Control, you should be fine. Edit: spelling error.
