So, is it 11.37 or 11.8 as on the spec sheet?

We did see that there was a change on the site regarding the dimensions, we will see if we can clarify and provide a final specification

If that's the case you better update the update, those few who have asked if they will fit and were close might not make it now after being told they would........oh boy!!

The FTW3 card length is 11.37in.
SC2 is 10.5in.

The specifications keep changing, are you sure the current specifications listed are final now?

Also could we have some clarification about the diameter of the fans used on each model?
Because some media have been mentioning 100mm fans on the FTW3, but I find it hard to believe when the card itself is under 300mm according to current specifications.

Any word on if it will fit in the S340 Elite?  I saw a few comments about whether it will be too tall, not worried about length.

Thanks

Makes sense for them to be 90mm each with around 20mm around the end edges

Incase anyone out there like me has a NZXT s340 case and are worried about the fit.. I once fit a Gigabyte Windforce GTX 970 (11.693 inches or 297mm) and it fit with some room. So we should be good to go =D

This is a relief as I'm going with an s340 Elite case for my next build(s).... that is, it'll be a relief if I actually decide to go with the FTW3.  Still debating if it's going to be worth the extra $$$ and wait time for this bad boy.

If you look at this review of the 750D case, it says it supports a max GPU length of 460mm, which by my math converts to 18.1 inches.

No sweat.

The current (as of the time of this writing) length of an FTW3 is: Length: 11.8in - 299.72mm

The user manual for the NZXT S340 Elite lists the following.

GPU Clearance:
  • with radiator – 334mm
  • without radiator – 364mm

So, if you’re using a radiator with a width of 30mm (interestingly enough, that’s the exact radiator width of the Kraken series of NZXT AIO’s), you’ll have 34.28mm to spare (334 - 299.72 = 34.28).

You can do the math if you’ve got a different set up:
  • Radiator width – GPU length = how much room to spare.
If ‘how much room to spare’ is a positive number, you’re golden. If ‘how much room to spare’ is a negative number, you’ll have to make a change (different cooling solution, different GPU, different case, etc.).

Don't forget another 25mm for the rad fans in push or pull configuration.

Length on product pages is correct, it was updated to include the length of the shroud as well, not just PCB. (Shroud slightly protrudes out). First post updated also.

Let me preface what's to follow by saying I do not own an S340 or S340 Elite, nor have I ever worked with one. I'm inferring, reading between the lines and taking my best guess as to the conclusions I'm drawing. YMMV, don't try this at home, etc.

I believe the measurements as listed take into account the front fans of 26mm already since front fans would be pretty much mandatory given the case only supports 2 other fans (not counting an air cooled CPU setup and a PSU fan).
Also, to be honest, I believe the case was designed to work well with other NZXT components, one being a Kraken X62, X52 or X42. All of these AIO's come with a radiator width that measures 30mm and one or two fans with a width of 26mm.

Notice in my message above I referenced the GPU clearance with and without a radiator. Interestingly the difference = 30mm, the very same measurement as their radiator width.
And note that not all AIO radiators are the same width. For instance a Corsair H115i's radiator measures 26mm and EVGA's own CLC 280 AIO radiator has a width of 27mm.

BTW - the S340 and S340 Elite cases do not support push-pull setups in the front due to the placement of the cable management bar (but you probably already knew that, huh?!).

Thank you. Can't wait to see how it will look in my case. Any idea whether or not the power link will fit between the card and the window?

Sorry, didn't go for the power link. I actually really like the look of the power supply cables on this EVGA Super Nova G1 power supply. Those cables showing through the glass are fine by me.
My 1080 FTW looks gorgeous in  the Corsair 750D case. Right now I have the ftw, corsair cooler and Asus MB all matching in a rich tone of blue.

Enjoy and congrats on the FTW3.

Fortunately i bought a Phantkes Enthoo Luxe last year, to use all 3-fan-cards without any problems. 35cm space without removing the HDD cage should be more then enough, even when EVGA fails again with the numbers. :D

I wonder if a mod with access to the FTW 3 can post a picture with the EVGA powerlink connected so that we can see if the powerlink covers the LEDs.

I've currently got the NZXT S340 with a ZOTAC GTX 1080, & the kraken X62 AIO. The ZOTAC is 300mm (11.8 in) by 148mm (5.83 in) and it fits no problem at all, its also bigger than my pre ordered FTW3 (if the dimensions don't change), so Don't sweat it if you've got the S340

Mods dont have access to any of EVGA hardware unless they buy it. Only the production and advertising team has access, and they dont like to release things until they are ready. Try asking Jacob on twitter for a picture (@evga_jacobf) and you may get what you are looking for.
