I pegged all of my WEI scores at their max with just a i7-4790k @ 4.6 GHz. Woot!!!

    I can't remember where I saw a post requesting results from anyone who could do this claiming a Quad-Core could NOT reach 7.9.

    All I can ever get on the CPU is 7.8 with 7.9's in all other categories.  Was always curious how high I would have to OC the CPU to score a 7.9.  I don't think I ever tried higher than 4.4GHz.  Maybe not even that.  Congrats on your perfect 7.9 score...

    I never got higher than 7.8 on the CPU before this. I'm afraid to run it again.   I just ripped out an ASUS Z170-S Tuf motherboard because it took over 1 minute to reach my login and replaced it with my MSI Z97 Gaming 7 with a i7-4790k Devils Canyon CPU. In my opinion the Z97 is the best available since Z170 and Z270 boards are designed around Windows 10 and we all know what I think about Windows 10. I did need to buy a Home copy of Windows 10 for the ASRock Z270 Supercarrier four video board motherboard but that's as far as I will go. That's only for Folding so who cares?
