Has Anybody stepping up to the Z270 CK even gotten to step 2? I put in for the step up program a month ago from a Z170 Classy K to the Z270 Classy K and still no response. I see the item is in stock and ready to ship if people just want to buy it out right directly from EVGA. What gives? I am thinking on just selling the Z170 on Ebay and buying the Z270 off the egg. First time using the Step up program and not very impressed.

I know it took EVGA a bit more time (3 weeks) than usual to approve my icx upgrade, but it did get approved. You are in the system and they will get around to you. It's a nice program that will basically let you get the latest motherboard for a few dollars (sometimes only shipping cost depending on purchase price). Just run the heck out of your z170 and wait for the approval.
Of course if you can't wait, you can go your other route (but there will be a co$t).

It can take time for any stepup so the only thing I can tell you is to be patient and wait it out.

Yeah, So they have stock according to the website. Why dont they use available stock to ship to existing customers?

i bought my z170 classy k jan 2nd and still havent used it, thing is still brand new in the box, was waiting to get all the parts so no big deal...yet

WOOT!! Same here, Just waiting for them to confirm payment.  Submitted step up on Feb 10th.
