I have a 980 ti Classified and 980 ti FTW. IDK if either one is a reference style. It will go into an ASRock Z270 Supercarrier with 3 other 980 ti boards for Folding at Home.

It would definitely require the blower cooler because of the VRM not being cooled, and the way the mounts work around the GPU core. I really wanted to pull the hybrid out and just see if it would work, but never had the time.

Ahhh! I see now. It's not the complete video board, just the Hybrid cooler add-on. It is a very generous giveaway for the right person. I decided the 980 ti was stronger for Folding than a 1080 so I bought a brand new genuine, not re-clocked broken, 980 ti Classified, 980 ti FTW and a MSI GTX-980 ti 6G Gaming just for my Folding rig. Both rigs together will push 2.4 million ppd right now. Another 980 ti should let me reach 3.1 million ppd. Woot!
P.S. Clarification: two GTX-980 in this rig and two EVGA 980 ti in the other right now. The Supercarrier from ASRock was DOA so the MSI 980 ti needs a home right now.

really though, great giveaway, though might want to put in the title it's the add-on kit and not the whole thing with the card included.
is it odd that I've had  a every card at that price point from the 285 except the 980 ti? (not that I really matters as I sell the old ones off)

I wonder if this will work for a 780 reference card?

It will but youll have to do some mods to finesse it in there. I did some research the other nite and seen quite a few cards, especially Titans, that people did it with. If you physically mod anything on the card your warranty is toast though. My card is out of warranty already so I don't mind doing it, its easy for me to do and I think I can do it a little different and a little slicker, but its ultimately up to ST.

I wouldn't mind someone putting it to use of a 700 series reference card, but you would have to be 100% aware that I do not condone you modding your card or damaging your card in any way.  I would just be supplying you a way to keep your card cooler and how you do that is up to you. First post has been updated in hopes that we get some actual entries.
 
So far, no one has entered per the requirements.  Get in those games and get some screen shots, and we can work out who is entered.  

Okies there ST. Now that you cleared that up im wondering if the deadline should be extended? I can also pledge this to you, if I win and for some odd reason I cant finesse this thing on to my card in such a way that im happy with it, I will just return it to you or we can hold another contest and move it on to another guy with a 980 etc.... whatever you feel is appropriate. I would also make sure I don't physically change the setup in any significant way that would interfere with a proper install. Hows that?!? :)

I have a couple EVGA GTX980Ti ref GPUs and I bought one of these coolers from EVGA when they went on clearance sale.
They work really well, my GPU folding or running primegrid stays at 45c in a 70f room.
I do not game as much as I used to, but I still run GPU grid and fold almost all the time.
I would love to get the other one the same temps, it runs in the 60s.
With used GTX980Ti selling for 275$ now, so tempted to get a 3rd.

I am not going to extend the deadline honestly. 2 weeks to post a screenshot feels like a long enough time already.

I highly believe in ingenuity when it comes to these sort of things. If there is a will and patience, there is a way.

Couldn't agree with you more about the ingenuity part. I def see your point about the deadline too, so the 15th it is. :)

I'm in as well.  My old overclocked Titans could use some love.  Going to resurrect them for a crypto project I am working on next week.
