Hmmmm..What OS?..I would uninstall Precision, then delete it's .cfg files along with the Precision XOC folder located in the Program Files (x86)\EVGA folder, restart your PC and install Precision XOC again..When installing again, right-click on the Setup.exe and then Run as administrator..Roll from there..Maybe an older version of Precision XOC behaves properly?

You can check in Task Manager -> Processes to see if PrecisionX is actually running but the icon just disappears, which seems to be the case..Maybe try uninstalling the Graphics Driver with Display Driver Uninstaller using the Safe Mode option..Then install the latest NVIDIA Graphics Driver or a slightly older version..You can perform a Custom (Advanced) Install and uncheck the driver components you don't need/want..That's about all I can tell you right now..Good luck.

Sometimes, it doesn't work if you enable in "Options"  Also bring up the main screen and make sure to click on START
UP just below where it says MENU top left.  You should see the white radio buttons like mine...
 

It's already tick on the main screen as well (All of the radio buttons are on) and on the settings (start with os). The problem is it will show up on the taskbar after booting then after i hover the cursor on the icon it will disappear right away. I have to manually click the desktop icon to start it.

I cannot get Precision to start up on load. Further, what I notice to be the problem is that the options in settings actually do not save. If I go to the General Settings tab and select Start with Windows and Start Minimized, no matter how many times I click ok and close it, if I go back to the settings, I will find they have unchecked themselves. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Precision, i've done the driver reinstall (I use DDU every time in safemode).
 
Interestingly, I also don't see Precision as having added itself to the startup list in MSConfig like it used to. Adding it to AV exceptions doesn't change anything.

I am also having this same problem since 4/10/2017. Every time I start up my PC (from shutdown or restart) Precision tries to load (system tray icons load up for temp and fan speed) but then windows reports it crashed and when I move my mouse over the tray icons they disappear. I have to manually start Precision from the desktop shortcut.  I tired uninstalling Precision and reinstalling it but no difference, still crashes.  I tired uninstalling my antivirus but it still crashed after it was uninstalled.  This is getting very annoying.
