Original 1080 ftw price drop yet?

I'm looking at getting another evga 1080 ftw card since mine has been so great, I see they are $539 on newegg... Is this the new price drop? In was expecting them to be $499 with the 1080 ti orders being taken now.

Any suggestions on this? Like am I seeing the price drop or is it still to come.

    thats the new price the msrp is 499 for the bottom card like the acx 3.0 reference board reference clock version. there is the ftw base model not the one with that fancy gaming word in it for 519. they are also still doing the for honor promo so if your intrested in that game its not a bad time to buy one and sli those guys. just make sure you look up using nvidia inspector to force sli on games that don't have it.

    check ebay bro lots going cheap on there,
    (TOS removed selling or advertise selling only in marketplace)

    is yours the gaming version or the ftw dt version thats 519 ? as there is no reason to really buy the 539 unless you don't want to manually overclock as all pascal cards are hitting about the same overclock no matter what they are pre oced ot

    https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?item=N82E16814487252 heres a link to the ftw dt version on new egg its kinda hard to find when searching just gtx 1080ftw . If it was me unless i was saving a pretty decent amount id rather buy new as things of ebay don't carry warranty plus unless 50$+- is a big deal to you its not worth the headache on the chance you ever need a rma or something
