I sorta hope they don't base it off of post count. Cause personally I have been around a long time. I was mainly on the gaming servers. But I don't post a lot unless I have something to really add to a conversation.

Same boat here.  I've been on here since 2010 (7 YEARS) and the Forums still classify me as a new member.  Jokes on them...

That isn't evga's fault. Your forum title is based on how many posts you've made since you created your account.

I know they dont have details yet about this but do you have any ideas on what could "elite" member mean? I wish I can be an elite member :)

I don't think it will be just post count.
It might be post count + EVGA products purchased.

Watch it be something like have at least two evga products registered to become EVGA Elite Member.

I have a feeling the products will be 30-60 day exclusive, after that anyone can purchase it.

And where are you pulling this magical number from. I doubt they would sell very many of them at that price per a year.

I think a subscription based fee would completely make no sense since most might grab one thing out of the whole year unless you're building a new rig and those folks aren't as many as the ones that are just upgrading a GPU every few years.

Use this Associate Code at your checkouts or follow these instructions for Up to 10% OFF on all your EVGA purchases:

Great colors you get as an Elite Member, but pretty stupid that you need to do something for it. Just make the Elite cards 20 bucks more expensive and you will be fine.

Yeah, I hear you. I have bought ONLY EVGA cards for over a decade (many of them, and you can see how long I have been a forum member) including a 1050ti a couple of months ago (which I swear was on the qualifying list when it was released for elite status). Because I am a forum lurker and not a non stop forum poster my post counts are low...Thus I am not an Elite member, so strange!!! Looks like even if I never bought an EVGA product but made 100 posts i could be an elite member.... I have been doing it wrong. I guess I have go dig out the information on the EVGA power supply I bought a few months ago, but forgot to register, so I can upgrade my 1080ti FTW3 preorder. Hope they don't sell out on the Elite upgrades before I can do that. :(

They're already $25 higher with the "Elite" status. If your willing to spend $800 or so after tax on a GPU they should just give the "Elite" status at the time of purchase.
