Currently FoldingCoin (FLDC) and Curecoin (CURE) are riding on 6 month highs with GridCoin (GRC) following suit with a 5 month high. FLDC and CURE have not seen these levels of trade volume and price since the FLDC boom back in Sept 14'th when it broke 1,200% in one day. CURE atm is looking like it still has some ground left to climb though while FLDC seems to have already peaked and started to leveling off again. GRC on the other hand is a tossup atm and could swing either way, imho.

here is to hoping these cryptocoins for science keep these highs for some time as it'll only help encourage more people to donate more processing power into helping scientist understand this world and all its unexplained phenomena.

I think there is a huge amount of untapped potential in altcoins based on systems targeting "socially good" causes like Folding and BOINC. I'm looking at starting another 501(c)(3) to look at additional places where cryptocurrencies can be established on top of other project like this.

CURE just broke 130% for today, over 3x what it was a month ago.

i sold half @0.000076 and i still got ~14k CURE i'm holding on till it hits 0.0002 then i will sell half of that. the last bit i will be to hold on to in case it CURE moons. FLDC on the other hand i do not collect, i just sell it relatively soon after i earn it, which has bit me hard this last pump which i wouldn't have thought would have ever happened.

Pumps are short term, hours long at most. Right now every coin is experiencing highs now after all the gains in btc and other primary alt coins, eth/dash/ltc and others.

Was looking at eth, and apparently our cards are garbage at mining for it.  :( Might have to just buy some and hold onto them for a few years ha.

most other coins require ASIC in order to be profitable, they flushed GPU's out a long time ago.

Never said it would, I said for users going after Coin, not users after a Cure.

FLDC's gains these last few days are impressive. i could see a pullback here for a bit but i doubt it'll crash back down to the ~150 range. but still if things stay like this FLDC will finally become equally as profitable when compared with CURE, when it used to to be half as profitable just a month ago.

and CURE is tanking... after being delisted from Poloniex effective May 2nd 2017 CURE will be removed from its primary exhange where over 90% of all trade volume take place. so if you havent yet withdraw all your CURE from your Poloniex exchange wallet to a safe place before then.

now what is the future of CURE? will it simply shift to a new trade platform, Bittrex or LiveCoin? or will it simply fizzle out into obscurity?

so all hail the new king on folding crypto, FLDC.

CURE devs have always been... slow... i guess at this point one could say the year and a half of them saying "Curecoin 2.0 will be coming eventually" caught up with them and now they seem to be fading. i was really liking the extra trading that was happening the last few weeks too.

I can't believe cure tanked as hard as it did.  Halved in price, and worse.  Hope I get some great FLDC numbers come May!

Think it would be wise to switch from ALL to FLDC only?

So I checked my counter wallet today and it's empty...did I not set something up correctly?  I am set to ALL.   I have my curecoins in my curecoin wallet at least.  But I am missing all the alt coins that should have gone to my counterwallet.

Woo hoo I got my coins.  Can this be right?  I got over 8000!! (almost 9000 folding coins) and current prices means that's almost 50 dollars for 2 weeks of folding.  HOLY COW!!  And that's not including my cure.  Is this right?  Did I seriously make that much profit?  Not as much if i could get into Ether...which is almost impossible in Canada, but wow.  Holy wow.

FLDC is really high right now. i personally made all my calculation based off a price of 200 and its currently 75% higher then that. but you can also determine how much FLDC you "should" earn by taking your CURE earned and multiple that by 41.5, this though is just a close estimation.

wow, FLDC just hit 590 today, that's a 216% increase over yesterday! still not an all time high though as it was pump/dumped to 820ish back in November.

So what's the easiest way to sell these...and damn I hope my 1080 hurries and comes back from RMA.  Folding on my old 970 whcih is dying, is not profitable at all.  Have to RMA that next haha.

you do not exactly sell them as much as exchange them. poloniex is the #1 exchange for FLDC but there are a few others that are not as popular, bittrex is another ok exchange. once you exchange your fldc for btc you can then buy stuff with btc or you can move funds to a btc/USD exchange and then wire transfer funds to your bank account, but expect high fees for a wire. due to the wire fees its best to try and buy things with your btc off newegg or some other site that accepts btc.

Ok I have an account on Poli.  I missed out on them at a nice high today haha.  I will see how things go, and hopefully I won't bug you too much.  Thank you very much for all your help.  Contemplating buying another card while I wait for my 1080 that's on rma..
