I thought I was pretty clear. I kept my reply very short and provided a link. When people asked for more information, I provided more information. I don't know what was so confusing.
Have a good day!
3 page thread. 3 obvious options. No demands and no requirements.

Yeah, not at all EVGA's responsibility. EVGA is doing a great job adding support to THEIR software, which is great that they are even going as far as they do as not all companies would do the same. Some just copy and paste other's work, LOL: https://www.pcgamer.com/g...t-no-one-would-notice/

I am arguing with CfYz_R and I have already provided the link twice containing background information.

Please read CfYz_R's posts over the last day or two. He is spamming the same demands all over the forum stating that it is EVGA's responsibility to make the asynchronous fans work in other software and operating systems.

Might even be less confusing if you actually quoted who you were replying. I've already seen those posts which you should know as I replied in that thread.  He has  9 posts in total since 2015...you've almost  exceeded his output in this thread alone. Like I said, come on

Quit asking me questions, and I will quit replying. It's pretty simple. I am just repeating myself. I guess I should have said nothing additional for those not interested enough to read the link.

I am using a phone. It's time-consuming and annoying the quote people when the text tree gets long. I didn't quote much in order to minimize spamming repeated text. The comment was obviously directed at one person with a link encouraging further reading. The later responses were targetted at 3 people who were all actively participating. I don't see a reason to use quotes in that scenario.

Let it go. Let it gooo-o.

You guys strange tbh...  The problem is - I'm not alone. The second problem - the issue really exist.

About threads I'm posting - I know my options (It's for ty_ger07 - thanks for suggestions, really thanks). But you forget - I bought EVGA for purpose. I'm fan of it, they make fabulous products - and I feel bad when EVGA card lack of usability, when cheap Colorful can! I just want EVGA cards be good in all cases, not only gaming on windows ;) And for sure I got my reasons to made this features - I want to continue to buy EVGA cards, with all feature available of course.

iCX so far the best thermal solution I've seen, except watercooling, so I want to spread the word - but I can't. Fans not controlled - it's a deal breaker in some cases.

Unfortunately, after the product has been designed and is already sold, I don't think that there is any way that EVGA can make the cards' asynchronous fans easily controllable by other software or operating systems. Communicating with the additional microcontroller(s) requires additional software.

I took the time to look this up just for you. This is directly from the horses mouth so to speak:

More companies won't adopt to it because they already do it for years. What EVGA is promoting as something brand new and even patented async fan control is available for years for some MSI cards, and even that fact didn't cause AB to be rewritten just to support that.
Both AMD and NV drivers are providing API for controlling the primary fan only, adding support for secondary fan means that controller must be accessed directly at low level, which adds real jar of worms in compatibility area. It won't be in AB just because some vendor (regardless if it is MSI, EVGA or anybody else) decide to play marketing games with second "async" controller.

If I had a dime for each time I had seen a pointless comment by someone chasing 100 posts for Elite membership status; because they for some reason believe that special Elite cards are available.

XOC does Not Work ???? ----> I run 6.1.14 with no issue under Windows 7 Pro 64b

I'm using it with no issues, as long as I restart it once a week on Folding Rigs that run 24x7, rebooted once a month

My cards - room is 8C - Cards are fully loaded 80-90% Folding

That is 3 GPUs with no gaps or the temps would be better

Nvidia Boost 3.0 --> sure does love a Cold GPU

Note: my RAM MHz looks strange Speed vs the OC --> the Folding software does this

pics below - room is 8 C - Cards are fully loaded 80-90% Folding - for weeks at 30 C & 31 C --> that's a temperature Delta of 22-23C above ambient (room) temp

checked again --> room 13C, GPU fan running near Max = 35 C ---> still 23C above ambient

With room is 21C with the windows closed -- rain & more rain with mild temps for this time of year -- OC still holding

After some further research I was able to find that Precision X supports both a frame rate limiter and screen capture capability, and we are currently working on improving the OSD. If you have any other questions, or need assistance setting up Precision X, please let me know.

Concerning this, I am having an issue with precision x- I can't turn LED sync off and I don't know why. My card LED seem to be locked. I have reinstalled PX OC three times, wiped all the evga stuff I could find from my pc. I was using a EVGA liquid cooler for a time but uninstalled that and I think this may be the reason but I dont know. The fact that ICX doesnt work with afterburner and that PX OC is so buggy is the only real reason not to love the ICX cards right now imo.

After testing I found that Afterburner was only able to control one fan on a 1080 FTW2; unfortunately at this time I cannot recommend it for any of the iCX cards, as it does seem to only be able to adjust the primary fan. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

This is incorrect in my experience.

On first use of the card without Precision X only one fan will run, however, if you run Precision X just ONCE it will update the firmware on the card and all 3 fans will then run without having to have Precision X running. This is what happened for me anyway.

Regardless, I would avoid PX at all costs, it's very bugging and causes many issues that MSI AB doesn't. For example Destiny 2 kept crashing. Uninstalled PX and the crashes stopped.

While you may lose out on a few temperature readouts and the ability to control the fans individually I would still stick with AB.
