There's usually a little more info in the pop-up explaining why Precision has stopped working, does it say?..Maybe something in Windows Event Viewer?

I too have this problem with this software. Event viewers simply state precisionX64server.exe or whatever the hell .exe fails.  No further information.

It fails to load profiles no matter what bloody color it is or what sequence of button presses as found in multiple forum entries.
It fails to start up when windows does, no matter how many times one enabled the checkbox in the settings window. (not the startup profile icon button)
regular crashes upon startup.  Re-installations produce no fix.  running scheduled tasks = no fix.  .batfile in startup = no fix.

Having to continuously check that monitoring is on has become a huge pain in my ass.

The card itself is noisy as hell and is the last EVGA product i buy.

Where are these settings in Windows? I have no idea where to find the 2d and 3d profile settings?

GreeneVelvet, these settings are in PrecisionOC. On the lower right part of the window, there is the little gear symbol. Click on it and a small window will open for the settings. I had an issue of it crashing on me[Poc], once I cleared them both to not assigned it has been working fine. Hope that fixes your issue. There is also some additional info in another thread that may be helpful, if the first option doesn't work.
