I have just received my EVGA GTX1080 FTW2 as part of the EVGA Upgrade scheme. I am from the UK and was curious to see how much it will cost to step up from the FTW2 to the GTX1080ti FE?

Has anyone from the UK already applied for this step-up?

I am just looking at the EVGA Europe website and it appears that there are no GTX1080ti FE cards in stock.

Secondly, do you think that there will be an option to step-up from the FTW2 to the GTX1080ti FTW 3 when that card is released?

I do not have the exact numbers of the current cost of the GTX 1080 FTW2 in the EU region. It should be between 649,99 Euros and 719,99 Euros and that would subtracted from the 819,99 Euro cost of the GTX 1080 Ti FE + the cost of the shipping to send you the GTX 1080 Ti card.

...an untrammeled flow of words in an open forum.

The price of the FTW2 prior to price drops will be utilized to calculate the cost put forth for upgrades. I did not see the price for the ftw2 in euros before it dropped unfortunately.

I assume i can still use my upgraded GTX1080 FTW2 until i choose to step-up, providing it is within 90 days of receipt of the FTW2? I have registered the FTW 2 on the EVGA site.

I removed one post, as your post came through twice.

Yes, you can use the card until the step up is approved.

Your card should have been registered when they shipped it, if you received it through the upgrade program. If you had to register it, please send an email to support@evga.com and have them verify everything looks good so that you dont run into any hiccups while your step up processes.

Just to be clear - it should be the original release price of the GTX 1080 FTW2, not the current price (i.e. after the discounts that followed the release of the GTX1080Ti) that you get discounted.

I am from the USA and I have this exact same question. I also recently upgraded from the 1080 ftw to the 1080 ftw2

What you are saying is that if I wanted to step up to 1080TI, the price difference is calculated using the original ftw2 price?
