Ordered this RAM for my replacement since its on the QVL and also with the promo code its $123. I had second thoughts about getting GSKILL again since I've never had a RAM failure before. I've never had issues with other Corsair products. Thanks for the help

Just for future reference, Corsair does have a memory compatibility finder that can be very helpful. I also recommend using our compatibility chart to find the best match.

No problem. Because there are far more kits of RAM out there then there are motherboards I recommend always checking with the memory manufacturer for the most complete compatibility list. Here are a few examples:

No, just a Crucial set for 50 bucks. I was gonna return it after figuring out the issue but I may as well just keep it in case something like this happens again.

Hopefully the new corsair ram fixes all your issues since the crucial ram caused the same issue at one point while passing at another.

I think I may have not properly seated the Crucial RAM that first time because it was rather hard to push in so that bit may have been entirely my fault. I haven't had any issues with it since re-seating, but yes I will have the Corsair installed tonight and will run stress test overnight.
