I have two of these cards in my rig that have been running for about 10 months without incident. However, over the last week or so I have noticed a buzzing sound coming from one if not both cards. This only occurs when I'm in game such as WoW. When I'm doing normal Windows operations, nothing. The same is true if I run a stress test on the cards using Kombustor, nothing. It only occurs when in game. Just not sure if they are starting to crap out after 10 months of use. No heat issues that I can tell. Water cooling with normal temps at 25c and up to 34c under stress. No overclocking beyond what the card came with.

Sounds like coil whine. Don't worry about it.

Yea, I changed my search terms and ran across quite a few posts on this. It's funny how most started out with the whine right out of the box and it took almost a year before it started with mine. Thanks for the response.

Just noticed it for the first time out of my cards last while gaming in 3D mode. I just turned up the volume.

That is me in the picture, anyone else ever pet a live Lion?

do you mean the same sound that I explained in my post? https://forums.evga.com/A...il-whine-m2630327.aspx
Mine might be a bit more extreme since it happens whenever the GPU is under any kind of load.
People downplaying coil whine is ridiculous. I'm getting it at all FPS, just at varying speeds and it's LOUD. If it's as bad as mine you shold not accept it IMO.
