Full load temps of my 1080Ti SLi w FC EK Blocks and Nickel Backplates:
Max Temps:
Cards should always idle at Room Temp under a very efficient Loop
38c both Cards Full load 99% (delta between each Card 1c) @ 2066 Boost
9900K @ 5 Ghz 52c

All on a single loop with 3 Rads....lots of pics including GPU's with Blocks and Terminal Block installed prior to installing on the Mobo... (second link)

Hey how does the EKWB 1080 GTX Ti perform under idle & load?

my reason for asking is that a friend of mine is getting a 1080 Ti , a second hand one and he seeks a good waterblock, I advised him the EKWB-1080-GTX-Ti, EK stands well known as the best for making Water coolers alongside Danger Den, if they still exist.

So yeah some info would be nice, it's hard to find a good detailed review of this waterblock as well.

I hope you guys can give some helpful info thanks

Using two GTX 1080 Ti's cooled by EK's 1080 Ti's waterblocks here in parallel. Under load temperatures never went above 46 degrees C in games while boosting to 2025 MHZ. See my modrigs page for setup photos.

DD isn't around anymore unfortunately, loved my gtx 480 blocks from them. As for data my single card with the EK block goes from around 26-50c, boost depends on load usually staying around 2050mhz. The issue is that different people have different idle temps and have their fan configs setup differently. In my case for instance, my fans are setup for quieter operation, if you can call 19 fans quiet lol.

You can take a look at Heatkiller as well, they make some fine waterbloks and they will be my next go to when i change my GPU. Already have a CPU block from them.

hey many thanks , he read this thread and he thanked me for trying to help him out also also thanks for your replies here guys :)
It's for the owner of 2CPU.com HEMI also my friend hehe

Hereby I would like to thank everyone else for their input

Greets from 2CPU.com !
