I play Left 4 Dead 2 only last several months...
I didn;t played any other game.
If someone love Left 4 Dead and L4D2 and he tried only original campaign I think it's time to try Custom.
Some of them are even better and more interesting than original. There is huge number of maps...
Most of them need from 30min to 3h to finish. But they are harder than original, I play on Advanced and all Survivors need to finish mission with me.
If someone die and I don't have defibrilator near I play from start. No cheating.
There is huge number of mods for weapons, but I use only original weapons with different animation, more real recoil, better sound mod, HD textures, etc...
Madness. I completely forgot on other games.

I loved a minecraft themed one I found.
I also at one point found a helms deep survival mode and it just kept going, I never got to anything I could call the end.
Loved adding rediculous stuff into it. Like Meg from family guy being the voice of the witch. Or quagmire's GIGITY off in the distance when a smoker was near by.
Added in Vader's theme song for when tanks come in.

I have played every single custom map out there. unfortunately when dying light came out... it killed L4D2. I tried to go back, and you just can't. You can't even get on top of a dumpster in L4D2, but in DL you can scale up buildings.

I used the grenade launcher mod. It gave you an automatic thump gun. SOOOO much fun... and SOOOO dangerous in close quarters :)

I don't use mod and don't enable sv cheat option.
My mods are Cinematic Light, All Weapon Reanimated, HD Pain Pills, Better Blood and Wound Textures, New Weapon Sound, Realism Pack Special Infected, HD Books, ... and that's it... Maybe something else I didn't finish complete upgrade.
I want to game keep original experience.
No one didn't used to save original weapon sound of Sig Sauer and Glock, AK-47 and similar.
Some mods shutgun is like you fire from tank, that's bad. Valve choose sound best for weapons because even after many days of plays and use you are not tired of sound. Only need little improvement for some weapons, better silencer, better shutgun and pistol fire.

Some new Campaings Finished Successfully... battle for Night Terror will be hard, I have problem with Final. If someone don't understand how hard is should try and protect all survivors... DNIEPR IS FALL!!! DNIEPR IS FALL!!! AFTER 3 MONTHS OF PLAYING FROM TIME TO TIME. This campaign have few version all of them are bugged and can't be finished before stucked player or similar thing, in one version survivor don't want to enter in escape vehicle, can you imagine... you need to wait to tank hit you in vehicle... and I found one campaign. Version 2.0.1 I think, last update on server... incapacited me 7 times, Zoe 6 times, Bill 5 times and Luis 7 times, no restarts, no deaths, defibrilator used 5 or 6 times... I saved a lot of health because I keep for most important moment, and there is 7-8 defibrilator, and I didn't immediately health survivors, I leave to fall down 2 times and than he get little health with defibrilator enough to pass 4th level and hardest, and than rescue madness... I'm sorry because I didn't record this game, that would be madness. So many times I thought I'm finished... Now I attack second hardest, 4 months I played... Night Terror. Game is crazy, unlimited hordes, wiches on place where you need to pass and 2 tanks run from you....PANIC, CHAOS, MADNESS. But I will finished. 31. L4D2 - Dniepr - Advanced - All Survivors Survived

Some new campaigns are finished and I write this most for fans of Left 4 Dead 2, they don't need to search for campaigns over Internet only to check their name here and download from net...Because probably will miss something... There is more weapon mods I use and they are not in conflict with previous I write here... -Adidas Baseball Bat -Black&Decker Chainsaw with new sound... 32. L4D2 - Dead Echo 2 (Escape with Helicopter) - All Survivors - Advanced 33. L4D2 - Dead Echo 2 (Escape with Vehichle) - All Survivors - Advanced 34. L4D2 - Dark Blood 2 - All Survivors - Advanced 35. L4D2 - Cursed Train - All Survivors - Advanced 36. L4D2 - I Hate Mountains 2 - All Survivors - Advanced 37. L4D2 - Left Behind - All Survivors - Advanced 38. L4D2 - Dam It: Buried by the Flood - All Survivors - Advanced 39. L4D2 - Left in Prypiat - All Survivors - Advanced 40. L4D2 - The Hive - All Survivors - Advanced If someone play Left 4 Dead 2 Custom Campaigns and in some campaign example survivors stuck and not follow him and no way to finish, only need to check and download same campaign from other server, because on some of them are not updated... There is 4-5-6 missions from here where I had such problems and solutions is to find different version... Example Left Behind only way to finish is download from FilePlanet, most of these are download from www.gamemaps.comAbsolute Zero and Night Terror still resist, that would be very hard to finish with lazy survivors, because simply no time to heal yourself in finale between waves, and need to finish without damage or special infected attack one by one and I can't heal my survivors, simply no time... I would finish but only with other players if we work coordinated... One have shutgun, two rifles one sniper and two shots, two reload, and exactly to listen where we go and when is time for healing, when to throw molotov, when pipe bomb and etc...Than would be much easier, but I can't pay attention on special infected and constantly hurry up survivors to follow me because they stay behind. Sometimes we need to go slowly, sometimes is time to run not to deal with them... Example survivor have 30% of health, unlimited horde attack us, I distract them and escape in safe room with two survivors and one of them stay behind and start to heal self in middle of hordes and have enough health to enter in safe room... Madness. Or when unlimited horde attack I cut them with machete or katana and I only need other to pay attention on few zombies who attack from side, than I could pass without scratch, but now they don't do that... Night Terror is crazy campaign with sick heavy finale more than highest difficulty in normal game, Absolute Zero is long campaign where finale is several tanks in one moment two of them on very limited space ...and I will need luck to finish that because skill will not help you in such situation, if you have no luck you will die because even in theory no time to reload or defend self on so small space where we shot on tanks who need long time to die on Advanced and only solution is to stupid tank start to climb on gutling gun and you to run arround and shot in him. In The Hive campaign have some traps from Resident Evil and she kill all survivors, and that's for me finished game because I play only if I could save them with defibrilator, than I notice if I knock down my survivors, enter in place for trap and later back and help them we will survive all of us... Other players on all clips leave them to die and continue. That's not real fair playing. But you need fast to knock down all of 3 survivors before they get up...

People, people... before 10 minutes I finished Absolute Zero, after several months of playing I success to finish with all survivors. This was epic battle, 2-3 times defibrilator used, 5042 zombies died in campaign, all survivors used pain pills 10-16 times, health 14-15 times, almost 3 hours of gameplay... Last fight was epic... I several time back to use defibrilator on survivors, no one left behind, that's rule, even if I need to sacrifice others and start game from starts, but all must survive or revive with defibrilator, I even destroy doors of some rooms where players show up after they die, to stop other survivors to open door before I find defibrilator. I almost die, horde and tank chase us and I heal two of my survivors because they walk slow and stop horde with molot coctail, but than I made such stupid move because I never had before so close and instead to go arround plane I go directly and propeler knock me down, and tank and horde come closer and closer, other survivors full of health, and they fast help me and we had maybe 4-5 seconds before tank attack us to escape. I throw on more molotov and stop horde but tank burn and continue to chase us but we escaped. Hahahaha...heheheheeeee... The worse thing is because I didn't know where to stay and my Tank USA Army kill my survivors and I back and revive her with defibrilator... Imagine stupid Zoe directly in front of USA Army Tank and die instantly... and we should go behind him... Excellent because we had health on way to the plane and several defibrilators, that save us. I finished and few other campaigns... but this map I play from 2016, now these days will be battle for Night Terror Campaign. All levels are extreme difficult and finale no time to heal self or others from special infected, that mean you have health but they serve for nothing, you must finish without damage. 41. L4D2 - Left 4 Goldeneye - All Survivors - Advanced 42. L4D2 - Goldeneye 4 Dead - All Survivors - Advanced 43. L4D2 - Infected City - All Survivors - Advanced 44. Hahahaaa... I thought something how console owners could enjoy in these Custom Campaigns and Mods.
What they can't play? OMG...What they miss. I can't imagine only main campaigns.... That's 10% fun with Left 4 Dead and Left 4 Dead 2.
I have some new campaigns for you finished... Maybe you think Custom Campaigns are nothing special, and some of them really are not so interesting, lack of graphic details.
But some of them are done with more details and better graphic than original...so much funn, graphic details, environment so realistic, you can find interesting thing in games, etc...

Some new campaigns are finished waiting RX Vega and GPU Upgrade.
Off course RX Vega only should confirm my decision to go on GTX1080Ti, GeForce served me OK from 2012 and no some reason to change.
Today I finished and official 100th Custom Campaign L4D2...
4-5 campaigns make me real problem and I struggle to finish them with all survivors. I could flee without others but I don't want that...
Some people on Youtube throw Bile Bomb on own survivors and escape with helicopter as real idiots...

Only this game is fault because I didn't still upgrade GPU, I keep money in pocket reserved for new high end GPU 250W class and when I finish this custom campaigns I upgrade. Now If I upgrade I will continue to play L4D2. But there is not any more interesting campaigns, maybe few, all others are childish cartoon halucinations and completely different than L4D2 strategy. I suppose I will be able to finish 200 Custom Campaigns. Now I'm close to 190... I will update list soon. I will write name of 5-6 campaigns I was not able to finish because extremely hardness or campaigns build buy idiots who plan to player sacrifice boots and escape. I need skilled players to follow me and in some campaigns you need to escape before deal with tanks who need precise shooting in head and little more effort to die on Advanced difficulty. I think 1-2 campaigns I finish alone or with one survivor. There is campaign named Warcelona... I finished but only I survived. Because In campaigns finale hordes and tanks show up in front of you directly and only way to finish is to trick tank behind obstacles throw bile bomb and escape... But because you jump over some boxes survivors are not capable to follow you so fast. If we kill tank that moment is second one and third and forth in front of us, solution is fooled tank and escape on roof in helicopter. I could done easy, but not with bots who follow me slowly. Example campaign The Mortuary finish only me, because it's bug on campaign and bots don't enter in room with car. They stay on door and die from tank. I freaked, litterary, then I go on site and curse author and his family. All campaigns I finished I report way to pass finale and how many zombies died and for how many minutes I finished. Because most of campaigns have 1-2 way how is possible to finish and if you do something wrong you are finished. You need to think what bots have from weapons, to push them close ammo because in some campaigns is bug and they don't take ammo... Than if that's case I use sv_cheats 1 options but only to overpass bugs, example if bots stuck on some place and don't move as in normal default campaign I need to warp them or you could be incapacitated they not help you. Only for such options, I use sv_cheats for 2-3 campaigns to warp survivors when they stuck and that's it. No health packs, no defibrilator, if only have small chance to pass without sv_cheats 1 I don't use that. The Mortary campaign is not capable to read as other campaigns and because of that when I arrive to the end and door of room is open I enter inside and bots not follow me I can't use sv_cheats 1 to warp them inside and finish campaign on same way sa they follow me.
