Gigabyte has the Gaming 8 and Gaming 9 with HDMI 2.0, but they are spendy boards: http://www.gigabyte.com/mb/aorus/Model

No one has DP 1.4 yet, not even Nvidia or AMD (their products are DP 1.4 ready but not certified).

What are you trying to accomplish? This cheap adapter will get you HDMI 2.0 from any DP 1.2 port: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B017BQ8I54

Thanks. I'm aiming for a HTPC for 4K Ultra Blu-ray playback, which also has to support AACS2 copy protection. Adapters won't work for this. Every time, I think hardware is progressing for the build, I find a new encryption logjam. For instance, while the new GPUs support the requirements the drivers do not because it would need to support Intels SGX (Software Guard Extensions) now. What are the chances Nvidia will implement that? So, now the only way is using Kaby Lake with integrated graphics, but... this is getting completely out of hand

This is what I found out so far. AFAIK this is the only MB that will support UHD Blue-Ray play back (there are two others, read on).

While the HDMI socket is physically the same it supports HDMI 2.0a (the "a" being HDR support. Often the version type is not included in motherboard manufactures specifications). This is accomplished by adding a MCDP28x0 chip to the Motherboard.

This coupled with Kaby Lake and the 630 integrated GPU, Pioneers BDR-211UBK, and Windows 10, will make playback with HDR possible supporting HDCP 2.2 and Intel SGX (which is something that needs to be turned on in the BIOS).

AND THEN I just saw this at Cyberlink's knowledge base which would include Gigabyte GA-Z270X-Gaming 8 and 9 boards. Check it out for there build requirements.

Would be nice to see EVGA offer a Mini ITX with this support :)
