I followed thread made by LRMark to resolve same problem but still can't find the way to install Windows 10 on Samsung 960 EVO
I did step by step how to setup M.2 to be visible in BIOS, but when I try to install Win10, it can't find the ssd.
Here's some screenshots of my bios settings

    Try setting CMS support to disable.

    Still same thing. I really don't know what should I do now. I was hoping that Samsung 960 EVO will pretty good budget M.2 ssd and will work without any problems.

    Ok, a friend at EVGA support gave me these suggestions.  Note that these recommendations requires "saving and exit"ing and coming back into the bios a couple times.  This is to reset some of the internal bios settings.

    BOOT Tab > Boot mode select > Set to UEFI
    CSM Configuration > [Important Step]
    CSM Support > Enabled"
    Storage > UEFI"
    Other PCI device > UEFI"
    SAVE AND EXIT THE BIOS"
    Go back to the bios > BOOT > CSM Configuration > CSM Support > Disabled "
    SAVE AND EXIT THE BIOS

    I noticed in your screenshots that the device is not showing up as a connected PCIe device (The indicators in the top right corner only show 1 16x device in slot 1). Which m.2 socket did you install the drive in?

    Yes, If you have Classy K, the M.2 Slot is the one at the bottom (i.e. far from CPU).  Also I see that your PCIe is set to 1.0 not 3.0 or 2.0.  I am not sure the SAMSUNG 950 or 960 can run with the older versions of PCIe.

    Ok, I have Classy K,  Here is my UEFI settings:
    "ADVANCED", "PCIE CONFIGURATION ",  PE3 "AUTO" (if after reboot "X$ GEN3" not showing, Manually set PE3 to "GEN3");

      "SATA CONFIGURATION", Sata Mode Selection  AHCI ,  M.2 PCIe RAID Disabled,;

    "ONBOARD DEVICES CONFIGURATION", M.2 Socket 1 Diabled, M.2 Socket 3(1) Disabled, M.2 Socket 3(2) Enabled.

    NOTE: When I first Installed Windows 10 I disconnected All My other drives HDDs and SSD so that the only drive working was the Samsung 950 / 960 M.2
    HOPE THESE HELP YOU.

    Alright after few days of struggling with it I finally find the way to set it up. Before installation I had to copy Intel Rapid Storage Technology driver on Windows 10 Boot USB. Then during installation click " Load Driver " and install Intel Chipset Sata RAID Controller. After that Samsung m.2 pop up in list of available disks.

    Another thing, why I can set 2 m.2 ssd? only one on the bottom ( 80mm slot ) works for me. Is the upper 110mm is different then other one? I was able to mount it but I couldn't find it in BIOS. Both of them are M.2  Socket3 Key M. Do I have set some other options in BIOS in order to use another m.2 Samsung 960 EVO?

    The M.2 SSD closer to the CPU uses SATA ports from what I remember. Should say / is printed on the motherboard, or in the manual.
    Also from what I remember if you loaded the EVGA Install disk when ask for drivers during installation of Windows 10 all the devices on the Z170 Classy K (or other versions) should have the correct drivers to install perfectly

    So it's possible to disable those SATA Ports ( 4/5 ) and then I'll be able to use another m.2 slot?

    I do not believe so.  The motherboard is probably wired to the SATA and PCIe for the M.2.  A quick email to tech support would probably confirm this.

    Once you enable the upper m.2 socket, it will automatically disable SATA 4/5.

    I purchased another Samsung 960 EVO but BIOS don't even see it. Both  M.2 SOCKET3 (1 and 2 ) are enable but only one the very bottom is pop up in BIOS. When I swap them the new show up and the m.2 with the Win10 on it just disappear. Buying Hyper M.2 X4 Mini Card will help in my case? amazon.com/gp/product/B017YUCAXS/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

    Have you contacted EVGA support about this issue? Sounds like a problem with either the BIOS or the mobo itself. I use 2 Samsung 950 Pro m.2 devices in my Classy K. Both drives showed up without any issue. Maybe it's an incompatibility between the new 960 and the mobo BIOS. The two slots operate differently, one on the SATA ports and one directly on the PCIe bus, which could explain why one works and the other doesn't.
