Hello,

I am starting to put all my drivers on a USB Drive and wondering since there is a set of USB 3.0 drivers which ones I would have to install so I can turn off my "Windows 7 installation" option in the BIOS?

I see
8-31-2015-USB 3.0-4.0.0.36
8-05-2015-USB 3.0-1.0.0.42

Which one would I need?

Always install the newest drivers. So the drivers dated 8-31-2015 would be the ones to install.

AMD Ryzen 9 7950X,  Corsair Mp700 Pro M.2, 64GB Corsair Dominator Titanium DDR5  X670E Steel Legend, MSI RTX 4090 Associate Code: H5U80QBH6BH0AXF. I am NOT an employee of EVGA

If you get to the point of USB install and needing to inject the drivers pre-install use this tool because I had a time making mine all tools were semi or big fail in 10 for creation

Just take your 7 ISO and inject the 3.0 USB drivers in the USB installation use Rufus to make the USB+ISO then run the Intel 3.0 utility to inject them into USB install.

(OS usage not injection this tool is only for 7 installs)
The top download is for Win 10 / 8.1   --- 2nd one is for Windows 7
    https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25476/Windows-7-USB-3-0-Creator-Utility

Take note I found the tool did not work for me period in Windows 10 it always got hung up a updating the .wim file, tried Win 10 pro - Pro N 100% fail.   Was on build 1607 14393 did not bother testing on any of my insider builds booted into my 8.1 pro install worked fine.

Let me ask you this first are you running the OS constantly with your windows 7 "Install" option selected???

This option is install only when done you turn it off at least on FTW I would imagine the rest but I try to keep from looking as much as possible when I cannot afford something lol

    I have the Classified K

Also I know after I install the Windows 7 and USB Drivers I can turn it off and have to. I'm just setting up my usb device with all the drivers to everything is easy.

Do I install both of those? USB3    and  extendible Host controller
They are both under USB drivers in the selection.

Both of mine are always present on fresh installs USB3 and Intel(R) USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller - 1.0 (Microsoft) which is newer than my disk I always use disk even though I have them stored on a drive. I have not really combed through disk files.

There will probably be more current ones than even MS provides. Drivers are nothing but a PITA to hunt sometimes so I tested that IObit driver pro on a install of 10 and 8.1 its amazing how out of date drivers get and even MS option if checked will not find them nor will update driver.
