hi everyone i have a problem with my 780 gti classified , i made a test with furmark , and as soon as i started the test , it gives me a black screen. so i had to restart my computer , no other options. and now the problem grows worse and worse , so i had to remove the card , i think she's dead the worst part of it it's that i can't find the serial number anywher, i called the seller , he said me that it's under the backplate , i doubt that . do you think that i have to unscrew all the screws to see the sn? it seems a lot of work for nothing , and i think that the seller removed the sn and he doesn"t want to admit it.. he doesn"t have the bill so i have to find the sn , thanks y'all

Yes, the S/N is on the back of the card on a sticker.

Yes, remove all of the screws that have a silver hole in the backplate. If the screw is actually under the backplate, leave it in. Do not remove the 4 spring screws . This will allow you to remove the backplate only, and see if the sticker is on the PCB. Iits 11 screws total.

unbelievable i just unscrewed the screws and the sn is right there xray man and scarlet tech i love you i was a little suspicious because the screws you mentionned scarlet tech , i couldn"t remove them they just stuck on the backplate , and as soon as i heard a little noise , i couldn"t go further.. so i left it like that and kept unscrew the others , in the end the backplate is removed and voila.. now there is another problem : since i don"t have the bill for that graphic card will evga be able to repair my gc only with the sn? thanks you are the best

Punch in the serial number here. It will tell you have many days are left on your warranty, no receipt necessary.
I suspect the Warranty may be getting close to the end of its life, as the card was released almost 4 years ago.

thanks , i just sent an email , waiting for the answer, hope the warranty will be ok , i paid it a lot of money (280$) , next time i will check for the warranty i just installed a new card : ASUS GTX 780 Ti but not classified (don't know if it's evga though , i didn"t see it on the card..) thanks again , you are great

When you punched in the serial number, how many days did it say were left?

I looks like you're in luck, the card still has 68 days remaining on the warranty. As it's a second-hand product, and you don't have the invoice, you'll need to use the Guest RMA process. You can get started through the link here.
