    maybe it's an extra air intake fan, same idea as cases that have a fan on the side panel to cool the GPUs, and not cooling anything specific.

    There is one card with a copper heatpipe on the vrm that comes out to an external fan. That could be the same thing.

    You don't know what a FAN does?




    I know what a fan does. Just didn't know why it would be in that position. First time seeing it. Wanted to really know if the air flowed in or out. (IN) to blow the air out the other fans, or (OUT) to draw heat away.
