I have the Z270 K model, and can get a Killer Wireless AC 1535. Has anyone found a compatible PCI card to put the supported Killer Wireless AC card in? The NGFF card is keyed for E and A. I read through an old thread regarding this question on the Z170 boards, but none of the links were still relevant. My understanding is that I would need to get something like the below picture.

    Classified K or FTW K?

Either way, assuming you're not using whatever it conflicts with you can install the card right into the e-key slot of your motherboard and just run antenna adapters to the spots on the IO Shield. You'd need MHF4 (m.2 card side plug) to SMA (normal router/wireless card antennas) cables.

If you cannot put them onto the board directly, an adapter like the one you mentioned will be more expensive but will work. Here it is from Amazon:

Basically it just passively passes through the PCIe lanes from the m.2 slot, and has the antenna and adapter cables included.

Thank you, Fewmets! It is an FTW K. I saw that Amazon while researching, but was not sure it would work. I like the idea of using the adaptor, as it mean fewer cables around the body of my computer. I will purchase it and post results.

I can attest to the above-linked adaptor functioning to the point that Windows sees the Killer device.
