Does the Z270 Classified K have a thunderbolt 3 port or not?

Looking at the pictures of the rear panel shows two USB-C connectors, and the IO Shield picture has a thunderbolt logo next to one. Manual labels the port as "thunderbolt" in the picture and makes no other mention of it.

Specs and manual for the board say it has 1 USB 3.1 Gen 2 port, not two, and make no mention of thunderbolt 3 PCI lane conflicts.

The marketing material makes no mention of Thunderbolt 3. Has a tiny reference to "Intel Thunderbolt support" in the press release, but there's nothing about that on the product page and that moniker has been used before to refer to boards with a thunderbolt 2.0 header.

Confused about whether the classified K has a Thunderbolt 3 port and what it shares lanes with if anything.

Also, on a side note, will the USB-C port on this board support DisplayPort over it for integrated graphics?

According to the manual (Page 15), the Z270 Classified K does have a thunderbolt port.

That's the whole thing though. That's clearly a USB Type-C port in the pictures... But Thunderbolt 2 was over miniDisplayPort, not USB-C...

Someone from EVGA is going to have to clarify this for us. I also would like to know if gen 2 or 3 thunderbolt.

I'm surprised no one from EVGA has bothered to reply to this topic.

Well I found the motherboard I want that has everything I'm looking for, sadly its not a EVGA mother board with too much vagueness with the info doesn't help someone making decisions. Sorry EVGA!

That's great to hear. You may want to have people get the information on the product page updated to reflect that then.

It's a feature that I was specifically looking for, and I'm sure I'm not the only one, and it almost led me to skip over your board because it didn't seem to have it from the specs.

Also it's rather misleading to say in the specs that the board only has one Type-C 3.1 port if it actually has two. Not that I'm complaining, just saying people might get misled.

Been here at EVGA a couple times for reference doing a couple i7-7700k builds and Optane and Thunderbolt support seems to come up... Even enough to turn some of Ryzen AM4.
Sadly, I did not see this forum post or I would have pointed clients to the Classified K :(
Your EU and Asia sites have the updated Thunderbolt info.
But as I am linked to the US .com site...
There is still no updated info!

Hope the heads up helps to clears up confusion...
    any future missed sales!

And I'll be sure to point out EVGA z270 Classy as having thunderbolt gen 3 support from now on to future clients.

No, although it does work for the intel iGPU.

The only way to do it with a dedicated graphics card is the way Gigabyte does it, with a cable running from your GPU to the back of your motherboard as a passthrough that gets mixed with the thunderbolt signal, but that has issues of its own.
