Well, the truncated title of this in my RSS feed was... interesting.  I miss my 2k. Had the Video Toaster board in it too. Gave it to a local Amiga fan when I was moving and needed to unload a house full of old PC stuff.

When hardware had real quality, this is one of those examples I love about retro hardware, it is made to last for many years and with a find like this a new one, not something you'd see everyday, thanks for this post, brings back a ton of memories, it may have not been as popular as the Apple II or the Commodore C64 or the Atari AT-2600 but it was much more powerful for that part  As a Retro computer freak myself, I would love to play with an Amiga 2000 anytime, seems fun!

I had an Amiga 500 back in the day. I remember all the talk about the video toaster and an expansion unit called the bodega bay or something like that. I have no idea what became of that. I was in the military back then and probably chucked it into the garbage at some point prior to a move.
