DG Tuner problem

When I try to run the DG Tuner software, it says firmware update and then "Can't find USB HID Device. I thought I had everything plugged into my motherboard?

    I also have the same issue, opened a ticket with support and have gone through a few things with them; no resolution as yet.

    same problem here. everything is attached as it should be, once i start the dg tuner - Can't find USB HID Device
     
    Any solution would be great. ..

    Fixed it. USB 3.0 cable needed to be reseated.

    your right, the usb3.0 connector was the problem, although i dont really understand it, cause the usb3.0 ports worked like a charm. problem still persists. sometimes its working, sometimes not. going to call evga support tomorrow and ask them for a replacement board

    This morning the DG tuner software upgraded the firmware! and now I have the DG HID device in the device manager?
    I have not changed anything recently and to my surprise the DG tuner now runs. No idea why, just happy that its working.

    I am having this same issue. I created a support ticket yesterday, but havent heard anything back yet. I tried reseating the usb 3.0 cable on the board to no avail. Anyone have any other ideas?

    Make sure that you are using version 2.0.0 for a DG-8 case, that version fixed that issue for me.

    Make sure you have plug Sata to Power Supply it make your case led light!!! Have a look below...

    I have the same issue. I've had it off and on since I purchased the case. I've gotten no real answers from support. Recently I realized that if I start windows in safe mode, DG tuner will work, but if I start windows normally, it won't. I don't know if that helps anyone else, but at least temporarily it works for me, until the next restart.
     
    ~~edit~~

    I've found that apparently there is some sort of conflict with my tobii eye tracker. If i unplug my eye tracker, the DG8 tuner app will open just fine, then I plug my eye tracker back in to my keyboard passthrough and all is well.
