So it seems that here is lots of guns people. Question is, does it contain any of these "childish games"? Milsim/airsoft here

I'm big into airsoft. Haven't played lately due to a back injury (follow up with the doctor next week).
I like large MILSIM games that last 24 hours or longer. My first large game was at Fort Drum in upstate New York.

I paintball but not airsoft. Well I mean I did airsoft but I thought it was kind of lame but fun to do indoors in your house to just mess around. I like paintball better because its more realistic when I shoot my friends in pain LOL. I used to paintball ALL the time with my friends until most of them moved away or went their separate ways in life. Paintballing was one of the best times I had in my life as a teenager and young adult(19,20,21 years old). I mostly played woods ball more than speed ball. Generally I liked woods ball more because it was always free for me instead of paying to go on a speed ball course. Also when I was in college ROTC at Texas A&M we generally do woods ball paintballing to teach us infantry tactical skills which was neat.

I had a Spyder Pilot for my main paintball gun. I was able to get the semi auto with my finger taps to shoot 20 balls a sec. Its not amazing like these 50 balls a sec but it sure did the job. The auto feature was only able to shoot 13 balls a sec. It also has 3 round and 6 round burst fire.

For my extra gun that I let a friend that did not have a paintball gun use is the Spyder Sonic Pro paintball gun. Its just a semi gun but it still did the job for woods ball mostly. I gave it a 14 inch extended barrel instead of the stupid 10 inch the gun came with. I gave it a 14inch whisper barrel.

I knew here would be some, of course. Its kinda fun though getting all those guns and gears. Not to mention bigger scenarios. Paintball is something that I would like to try out with friends, but maybe they doesnt like that. It's just more competitive than As.

This year I were only in one bigger game, 28hrs. First day recon, 6hrs walking in forest and found out enemy base, we gave every detail what is happening on (when infantry moves and which direction, when some mechanized moves in and out etc.). Game area was army training ground, 625ha = 7474937,5 yr²

I played quite a bit of paintball in the 90's, loved woods ball.  Kinda got out when the trend changed to speedball where there was less skill and more a matter of who could dump a hopper quickest.

Now do tactical 2 gun shooting, which is about the most realistic shooting you can do.

I used to paintball... mostly speedball but sometimes id play scenario ball. No many people enjoyed when i played though as I used to play with an Angel A4, ultralite barrel with an Egg hopper lolololol. I was going to get into Hyperball but shortly fell out before I got to play too many games.

Why do you have a plate carrier and a helmet for airsoft? You went full operator there lol. I mean airsoft does not even hurt. Well yeah I know you feel a sting but not that much to wear all that. And yes I do know about the battery green gas guns which I owned a AR15 just like this. but it was not a tippman and no way in hell for that price. I cant remember the brand though cause it was so long ago. The grenades are useless when I used them because they did not spread as far as you would think. Also people tend to cheat and pretend nothing hit them with those when I played.

By the way I did used to play with these airsoft paintball pellets in my gun too. I used these airsoft paintballs with my 1911 pistol

Well, its about realism. I like to have real deal set, one of those they use in real situations. I got here plate carriers with lvl4 plates inside. Few people over here use same set in army practises, includes plates, carriers and ballistic helmet (real one, not plastic). All they get from army is weapons.

I did not say you cant so by all means wear what makes you feel good. WOW you wear real level 4 plates that stop real AP rounds. Thats over kill dude. I was going to understand if you said you use a plate carrier for the mag pouches without using real plates. Now I dont understand is how are you going to tell if I shoot you in your back or in the head since your wearing full gear that supposed to reduce penetration from bullets? Idk I just dislike it because it reminds me of those dudes I played with who used real gear and pretend they have not been shot and keep playing since they did not feel it, see it, or hear it. Its frustrating arguing to someone that they been shot.  That is why I play paintball now because you feel it instantly and you cant hide the splatter of paint all over your clothes. Well you wont feel the pain of paintballing if your wearing level 4 plates but you still cant hide the splatter of paint on your clothes. All I wear when I paintball and airsoft is a mag belt, mask, and gloves, camo pants(woodland and multi cam), and black t-shirt. Also the groups that play around my city wont allow you to wear tacted-out gear like plates or a helmet if you play with them because they think its for pansys. They say you only can wear pants, t-shirt, mask to protect your money maker, ammo belt, gloves, and knee/elbow pads.

I think we're in kinda good state here, i haven't really witnessed this that not taking shots. If theres situation and i can clearly see that it was hit, then just hit again. Third round goes to cheek, lol. I know how hard it is sometimes to hear or feel the hit, here is cold winters and everybody is buffed with clothes. And when adrenaline hits and you'll be running, thats second situation where you might not hear or feel anything. Plates are still small, theres plenty of area to hit. After this summer i can still calculate 3 marks in my arms. Those cqb areas are pretty neat, and they have very stricted rules about how much your gun can shoot.

Back to plates, first i got them because they belong to pc's. After few times, it was more like to getting more weight in your shoulders = better excersice than normal jogging.

I would much rather do it close to mil sim look, then not. So I go all out and play that way to. Why? Why not? If I have fun doing it, its worth it.

I love real guns as I was in the Army for a decade but now I'm just too big to do any paintballing, I'd be a massive target, lol

I used to work at a paintball field in the 90's and it was a lot of fun but haven't really played in years. After a while of working at a field you could kind of tell how people played the field and exploit it as we had a booth to watch the field and where people went. Woods ball though is a lot of fun since it's played very different then an indoor playfield.
