Withj my 1080 FTW, I have managed to get it folding at 1987Mhz with a temp of 72-73 degrees.  So far it has been stable this way for 2 days.  Combined with my 970, it is tracking for 800-900K a day, with a few hours gaming each day.

That is a decent overclock and good temperatures

That's a very nice result ipkha! Would you say the 1080 is getting 600,000 depending on WU of course?

Yeah, sounds about right. It starts off over 2ghz, but tapers to 1987Mhz after Temps reach 70 degrees or so. Doesn't help that there's a 970 below it cranking out heat and blocking airflow. Probably going to add more fans when DG case ships. Thought about putting in top fans but giant Noctua DH-15 kinda blocks the upward airflow.

And that's not even 24/7, with some "fun" time included. I would be totally happy with that...Impressive!

I am definitely happy with it. I'm just gonna try and get a nice 2ghz folding speed consistently once the DG-87 case arrives.

oh, you also invested in the new evga case? well i for one can not wait for it as i know it will help improve my airflow in my case. though right now with the 1070 temps are not of real concern. but i am finding your PPD to be kinda low as i would think with those two cards you should see just over 1mil PPD. that is unless you are gaming for 4+ hours a day, then that would be right. any chance of posting some unimpeded project ID's and their associated PPD?

Extreme OC shows 966k yesterday with old averages around 200-300k for just the 970. I do not unfortunately have unimpeded numbers. I could copy the log for Slot00 and post them, but I pause a few times a day for general purpose computer use and gaming. I honestly don't count my gaming hours precisely, they go up and down, as I sometimes loose.track of time while playing. I will check when I get home tonight and post my log.

Edit- The other problem is I sometimes let it run while browsing on Chrome, which utilizes some of the GPU resources, especially when watching youtube videos or streaming Audio from flash sites.

no need to post them if you are pausing and/or gaming while trying to fold a unit as you can not calculate its proper PPD values. i just wanted to make sure that there wasn't something else other than multitasking that is reducing your PPD. but either way 850K is nothing to scoff at.

I will post some good numbers next week. Not gonna be gaming for a while. Me and the wife are going to be in hospital next Tuesday for the birth of our first child. Since we're not gonna be home for awhile, I can get some solid numbers.

Thanks for posting I am considering a 1070 but I wanted to see what others are getting with this card. Currently I am crunching 2 x 970 FTWs and a 980ti CLASSIFIED along with a 980 SC.
So post your results running 24/7 (no gaming)
    Thanks bro!

I've told the 970 to finish it's task. Should be all 1080 by midnight eastern time. Here is a link to my folding stats.

Thanks guys! We are expecting a Daughter. They are going to induce on Wednesday morning and hopefully she will be born by the 23rd.

I check the machine every so often, the 1080 hovers in the 2012 or 2025 with Temps of mid to high 50s. The fan is set to 2300rpm and is not really noticeable. The PrecisionX is just set in the main screen for +80 clock, +125 memory. 120% power target with temp target at 82 degrees. Voltage seems pretty steady at 1025mv.

Yeah that seems to be about the numbers I'm getting on my new 1080 FTW. I'm averaging about 713-761K. I'm not doing anything special to it either with PrecisionX. Add in a 960 SC to replace a 670, and I got both in action put in place this past Sunday at about 1M for the month. I've hit 3M earlier this morning. Welllllllllllllll worth the wait and build up on EVGA bucks.

I restarted my client as I changed it to higher priority. I closed more apps and enabled Kboosto. Steady clocks at 2025Mhz. Steady Temps in high 50s. Will post updated logs after we get back from hospital. Probably Friday or Saturday.

Is the card using PCIE 3.0?  The 1070 thread shows this made a significant difference.

It's in the primary slot of my board. It might be rocking at x8, but it is the slot is definitely 3.0. I was running GPU-z to monitor it for awhile.
I did confirm that it is running at 3.0 x8 due to the 970 in the second slot.
