I had a great time doing the build and I am happy with how it came out. Just posting here to show it off and because I got the caselabs SM8 and pedestal from a super cool forum user in the marketplace.

Just for fun. and in case anyone enjoys looking at PC's like I Do

Did a rebuild and removed the pedestal just to have a smaller form factor for a bit. Squeezed in both loops and 240 360 and 480 rads. I will do PETG on the GPU's once I order some more. Or maybe wait till I replace GPU's with something newer than these 980'tis

The fluid is actually UV black and once it settled and I added a little more dye both loops are the same color now.

Great build, these EVGA HydroCopper look excellent in SLI like this.
That's interesting with liquid cooling, you can always to change something to look different, tubes color, loop shape, color of liquid, different compression fittings....And RIG always is fresh.

Another rebuild after upgrading to 1080ti.
still not done. I am working on a custom bracket to mount the PSU behind the PC. There will then be a 360mm or 480,, Radiator across the bottom. Also havent installed the m.2 drive yet

Thanks, of all the crazy build i have done in this case, this one is by far my favorite. I dont know if the colors or the lines of the tube or what but i cant stop staring at it.

I think once the PSU is mounted on the back and big bottom rad is in it will even more clean.

Re: Just a few photos of my current build and setup 2017/04/27 09:19:57 (permalink)
so i put in a thick 360 across the bottom and temps have increased, its only a few degress but since i have all the hardware i think i am going to remove that and put in a thinner 480 on the bottom and maybe a 240 or 280 in the front. MY guess is because the thicker rad is not allowing as much air to pass through probably needs push pull fans or faster fan speeds. :(

i am aware all of this is negligible and mostly aesthetic. my goal is to find the configuration that allows me to run the fans as low as possible while keeping the temps super low and the way it looks.  then ill put the hard tube back in and hopefully leave it alone for awhile.

I built a pretty cool drain so ill post some picture of the 360 and the drain i built.

Also since i have no way to bend the metal properly i had to order a couple parts from case labs for the rear PSU bracket i am making. ill post picture of that too when it is complete.

Still have to finish the bracket for rear mounting the PSU. once that is done i can finish the cable management. I dont think I am gonna do anymore PETG in this I am liking the way the soft black tube runs look.

The fluid is clear but for some reason with the lights and camera in pics it looks more blue. 1320MM of radiator for CPU and 1 GPU is definitly overkill but i can run all the fans super low and even when gaming the GPU never gets passed 30C

package on the CPU temps peak at about 48-51C

i am liking the look and balance of this one now.

it was already removed and i don't care either way. I just wanted to share my photos and the craziness of the rebuilds with anyone who might be inspired, curious or enjoy these.. a lot of fun has been had experimenting with the different configs. :)

After a few days of gaming and benching i can confirm that all this radiator does allow me to run the fans at super low speeds and maintain very good temps. This PC is so quiet now its pretty awesome. The PSU mount on the back is done also but the rear side cable management is something I will procrastinate on for a while probably. if anyone is interested in the mount let me know and ill post some photos of it
