Single 2080 ti doing everything:

 
2080 ti with a dedicated 2080 ti physx card:

 
Note: Max usage on the dedicated physx card was 33%.

Obviously they can still be useful. 
 
Wish the new metro exodus game could use a dedicated physx card, but sadly it can't even though the game supports nvidia physx.

Amazing how well a single 1080 Ti holds up at 4K all settings including AA maxed out.
 

 
I took out the 980 Ti I was using for PhysX. With it I was getting getting better perf than a 2080 Ti alone (only on this title of course) especially the min FPS. PhysX can still tank FPS.
