I can relate my lad - currently have about ~900 games and it's climbing rapidly. 
It's just fun to build a massive steam library - I haven't even played 90% of the games and some are games I always wanted to play; yet I always go back to Civ V, CS:GO and Overwatch.
I do this weird thing where I tell myself I'll play it when I upgrade my PC so I can play it on Ultra in high resolution but then that never happens.

I have a hard drive full of my steam games, 137 games totals about 920 Gb I also have other hard drives holding more games but this drive is the dedicated game drive.

I used to buy multiple games per month. Basically, if it looked somewhat interesting I'd buy. I ended up with probably over 300 games across accounts. Now, due to having less tine and other priorities, I'm much more methodical and will read multiple reviews and listen to recommendations from friends. I also don't blaze through games like I used to. Now, I finish probably 90% of the games I've bought in the past couple years.
