Issues with EVGA PrecisionX 16 K Boost

Hey guys, I've been having some issues with K Boost recently and was wondering If I could have some assistance.
When I press the K Boost option I get an error which reads:
PrecisionX_x64
Please close below 3D applications, then try again.
time.exe
precisionxserver_x64.eve
 
I am using an EVGA GTX 970 4GB FTW and Windows 10

    In order to enable K-Boost you must close all applications including the two above. So, I would do what it wants and use task manager to end the two processes. Then you should be able to enable K-Boost.

    I've been experiencing this issue too, and I don't believe the solution proposed above is really suitable. Spotify.exe needs to be closed to enable K-Boost? Are you kidding me? Spotify isn't even a 3D application. I've been experiencing the issue with the DG Tuner application.

    I have this problem as well.

    This is a real pain.
     
    I have a DG-87, CLC280 and the FTW3 all have K-boost. When I press the K button on the case it asks to close everything down.
     
    Then none of them work together by pressing the button so whats the point??
     
    Why not make a software package that incorporates everything instead of having all the different EVGA apps needing to be installed.
