Fallout 4 wiring issues.

I make tower style buildings and place my fission generator on the top of the building. My problem is that when setting up lights for the floors I am only able to go 2 floors below it and then there is no power below that. Does anyone know if there is a way to bring power to the lower floors without running poles and such?

Power is based on distance to a wired object. Once you are too far away, lights will not light.

I usually run a single stand down the either side of the building if its tail If its wide, I'll run a strand or two across the roof to make sure that all lights are within power vicinity. If its wide and tall, Ill run a stand into the room on the ceiling every other story. I haven't looked in some time, but there may be a mod that increases the distance from a powered object that non wired objects will receive power.

I also have a massive and I do mean massive ammo manufacturing complex that I never fully completed because I started to have resource issues on my machine when all the machines would start pumping out ammo. Macros genuinely helped with that build cause putting materials in all those machines by hand is back or should I say hand breaking. Its also a bit buggy when a machine is running but it is outside of render distance.

I'm looking into the ammo MFG complex myself. Just going to make a small setup.......... for now.

Do you know if you can make energy weapon rounds?

The only one I see is electromagnet cartridges. At least thats all that show on my console. I think there were perks or something to allow manufacturing different things. I has been some time since I started putting that plant together.

I got the distance factor as I was playing around with it. I ended up running a couple of wires down the outside of the wall and could get 2 large floor squares into the building before I lose power. I'm trying to keep it as clean as possible as the idiot settlers develop walking issues.

The dimensions of my buildings (large floor squares) are 7x7 wide and however high I can get it. Abernathy is going to be a monster. LOL

As far as mods go I have one installed that deals with power pole distances. It allows me to go greater distances between poles. But that's it.

If I'm not mistaken that electromagnetic cartridge is tough to come by and very expensive to buy.

Is there an item in the MFG selection that will allow you to just dump everything into it (I'm lazy) and let the machine do the break down/sorting?

Not sure on the tear down. I just configured two macros on my mouse. One to move 10000 units of each material into the ammo mfg machine. The other to replenish my inventory with console commands. Two clicks on each machine to load it up.

I'll have to look into this a little more. A bunch of videos online and a cup of coffee should do the trick.

Out of curiosity, for those that have completed the main quest what were the factions that you chose in the end of the main quest and why?

Minute Men
Railroad
BOS
Institute?

For those that have the DLC: Nuke A World, did you go in and wipe out all the Raiders or did you play through it till the end?

Institute cause he is family supposedly and two cause BOS rubbed me the wrong way when I told them I had a plan and they wanted me to wait. Their leader and so many of them were ungrateful douches. So I wiped them from the map.

As for nuka world, I played both ways. I finished it quick the first time. Walked in. Mini-nuke minigun pointed straight up. Carpet bombed the whole map.

Really, really cool but the requirements are quite high to get a steady 90 fps, also it's lame that you don't have arms or hands and some of the interactivity possibilities were neglected for lazily made menus and instant actions. So it's pretty rough but the potential is huge and it's still the biggest VR game at the moment as far as content goes.

I'm leaning toward the Minute Men at this time.

Carpet bombing the whole map must have been a blast. LOL
Were those that remained friendly toward you? Also, are there any settlements to be had after you did the mini nuking?

In the vr version, can you play the entire map or is it only a limited game play? What is a good headset to look into?
