I'm installing Windows 10 on my SR-2. Do I format the drive MBR or GPT ? How does Win 10 work with the SR-2 ? Since Win 10 is UEFI and SR-2 is not, is Win 10 installed on SR-2 using Legacy BIOS ?

SR-2 / 2 x X5650 / 48Gb (6 x 8gb) / RTX 2080 super, GTX 1080Ti / Lian-Li PC-A77F

i use win7 but u can install win 10 no problems
in Rufus use  ( MBR partition for bios or uefi )
in sr-2 bios select boot from your usbstick save reboot.

posted in the other thread, but I had no issues with using the Windows ISO tool to make a bootable USB installer, which I then used to do a clean install on my SR-2 build.

this may be a little self-serving
 
but as I was working to get the lights back on my SR-2, I installed a fresh version of Windows 10 (Oct 2020 - version 20H2)not sure if the image shows up
 
the good news is that windows 10 is installing everything - nothing missing in Device manager. Though the SATA 6 GB/s doesn't want to book, but all other SATA's are good to go (i might have something not enabled in the bios!)

The ethernet ports are powered by marvell 88E8057 chipset, so look for
