Have anybody noticed that when the fans aren't spinning on idle that they jiggle a little? One fan jiggles then the other fan jiggles and it alternates. I was wondering if this is normal? I'm hoping this is normal as I think I got a pretty good card with no coil whine and no fan problems.

Hello tranleland

I can confirm the fan does have this type of behavior when the fans are at idle. This is perfectly normal.

Is it normal for one fan to do it? The GPU fan? Makes a bit of a ticking sound as well.

It may be normal, but why does it do it?

I don’t know exactly why it does the wiggle jiggle thing, but my guess is that the card is testing the fan to make sure it is still there, or there is an occasional pwm signal that cause it to react for a second.

And yes, it is normal.

P.s. this thread hasn’t seen activity since November of 2013 lol.
