Is is still the jump from 2667 to 3200 without the 2800 option available? -- I have GSKiLL 32GB DDR4 2800 and it seems like I can only get that if I use XMP.  As I've said in other forums, I seem to get lower FPS when I overclock in certain games yet better benchmarks.  I think XMP is a problem even though I stress test just fine. I hope this fixes the issue because as of right now I am overclocked to 3200 and boosted by voltage to 1.4 (It was needing more than 1.35 for some reason)

Hey bigs0g32. LinusTechTips actually did an overclocking guide here: http://youtu.be/Nj4ixZE7EWo :and stated that their motherboard wouldn't work at 2800 either, so it may be something else going on. They were running 2666 and we're able to go past that, but not touch 2800 if I heard him correct... Take a look at that and see if you can decipher something from it if possible.

I am curious if it is currently a limit with the RAM speed itself, along with motherboard, bios, and cpu as well...

Also, many thanks to EVGA for the quick update this round and Jacob for the post. :-)

Not sure if that has anything to do with frames per second in games.  That's a whole other thing.  It can be from GPU drivers, the GPU itself, bad OCs etc.  Other many variables but not XMP or system ram unless you're running out of it and the system is "stuttering" if you will.

When everything is stock.. the fps is stable... Then when I overclock I pass all stress tests (doesn't go above 80c) and it has higher benchmarks via 3Dmark.. yet lower in game?  It's puzzling.  I made quite a few posts about it here as well as screenshots.

I know what you mean now.  I've had some good OC's on my GPU and for some reason, after a certain OC, my FPS would drop.  Yeah, its all about the GPU OCing.  Nothing else.  I am not sure why that is but I've had it happened and lowered it a bit to keep the higher than original FPS.  I think but I could be wrong, you might need to balance it out say you have to much GPU Mhz and not enough Ram speed or something like that.

When I click on the links, it takes me directly to a zip file, and asks if I want to Open, Save, or Save as. If your not on IE, I would try that browser.

You could also go here: http://www.evga.com/community/  and click on "support", then, "drivers and bios".

It should - I'm running CMK16GX4M4A2666C15R on an X99 Micro and it offers two XMP options.

All of the officially tested memory is listed here.  FYI this is a MUCH better list than what was used in the X79 days, more modules and much more common.  http://www.evga.com/support/motherboard/

Your memory is in the list as well.

Also in most cases, after I post the BIOS's in the download section I get an update out for the supported memory as well.  Also with that, for those of you who haven't looked at the list in a while, I also added a new column showing what BIOS revision different RAM kits became supported with our boards.
