I have seen a lot of companies put the arc in the channel for the block and never understood why.

I have a friends who wants to know if u can made the base block from cooper/aluminium . The design is super! Maybe a more conductive material and a smart design can improve the cooling performances in overclocking.

Board look sick good. I try to explain that X99 should came with exactly similar heatsink out of box, off course without watercooling block(or with as Maximus Formula), similar heatsink can cool down chipset and everything else. But obvious manufacturer wish more sign E and some different kind of heatsink. This gold could be black or silver, or different combinatioin silver-black, something similar design... That would be amazing stuff and probably one of most wanted X99 motherboard. I talk about that year before, and EVGA had time to make. I didn't thought on exactly same as this, but same vision, many similar variants could look much better than stripes on X99 and sign E over that and heatpipe. Imagine mono block for X99 Classified for CPU and motherboard plated with white gold.

This should be awarded as best motherboard water-block combination ever made.
Only competition is Rampage 4 Extreme mono-block but this look nicer.
When I thought on future look of X99 I had in one second mind ...
"How much could cost if EVGA design heatsink with acrylic as visual detail on flat heatsink over EVGA fonts or sign or something like that..."
But I immediately reject that because sensitivity and price probably...
