Cables.. lots and Lots of cables as well as the Farbwerk LED Controller, since I picked up LED strips and failed to read the part of the description that cleaner said they don't function with the aquaero 6 xt.  That should be about it at this point.

looks awesome. Thank you for posting your build log!!!!! I really like the dual cylinder reservoir's for your dual loop setup. I love my 900D, but I think Caselabs will be my next build if I go BIG again. :)

In your GPU loop, you went parallel to serial to parallel. Why? I am not sure I will ever have 4 gpu's, but I am just curious what the reason/benefit is.

Re: [Build Log] Mag-numb Tee Aye-ch Tin Alpha 2015/07/18 16:59:21 (permalink)
Because when you go Parallel, you Split the pressure across the circuit.  Running 2 parallel cuts the flow in half.. three, a third.. 4.. quarter.. Once you get to 4, the pressure is so low that it may not even cool one or two properly..

This splits the load by half, rebuilds all of the pressure, and then splits it in half again, making sure that all GPU's run the same temperature.. I have never seen over 50c on any of them, when they are all 4 under heavy load.

I would DEFINITELY Suggest Caselabs.  I love this case, and would definitely be looking to them if I needed to get another.

Re: [Build Log] Mag-numb Tee Aye-ch Tin Alpha 2015/07/18 17:05:31 (permalink)
that makes perfect sense. This way you get a happy medium with flow/pressure as opposed to complete parallel or serial.

Thank you :)

The LED is beautiful.  I am leaving the area for a month, and will be ordering the cables when I get home.  The cable order may be the biggest pain of them all due to the the so many varying lengths and having to get really specific with lengths.

Thank you, sir!

I want to get two slim 480’s with ports on top and bottom to help with filling and draining, because that is the hardest part with so much Rad space.

Because I don’t look at the I/O cover, so I am not worried about it being covered.

Also, I wasn’t taking anything apart that could possibly void the warranty with Asus. They are bad enough with that stuff as is, no reason to give them extra reasons.

I agree with that. Asus is very 'picky' with their warranty
