I noticed that a little over a week ago that someone besides myself was folding in JeffreyHam's name. At the end of a month's time if I manage to make all of the points for folding that I want to make I'll fold in JeffreyHam's name for a couple of days. Whoever that was that did some folding for him I wanted to thank you for this act of kindness. It's kind of neat in a way to keep his memory alive in cyberspace in this way.  For those of you who did not know Jeffreyham he was a forum member who excelled in nforce chipset based motherboards and he helped many of our forum members with issues or problems. His last post on our forum was on 13 February 2012 and he passed on 3 March 2012. Cancer took him and that reason among many is the reason I fold.

Wasn't me but I can always spare a few work units for a good cause. Count me in.
Never know one day someone might do the same for me when I pass.

I was thinking RJ... Working from your idea in another thread... What if we created a user name for the fallen? Like EVGApes as an example of a user name we use in an event. Why not start a user name something like... - OurFallen
- EVGAFallen
- IMOOF (In memoery of our fallen)
- LBNF (Lost but not forgotten)
Anyway, the idea being we could create an event surrounding those we have lost in the Folding Community as another way to pay thanks, and spread the word on the value of folding or what have you (Thinking Crunching as well possibly)...

AB I think that is a great idea!!!. That event would really bring us together for the real purpose of folding. The Science and a cure.

A week or weekend sounds good to me as well
Choosing a time when the temps are acceptable for most of us may help.

Thanks for this generous offer. I have been folding some over the past couple of days for Jeffreyham. I try to fold for him at the end of every month. Monday marks the 2nd anniversary of his passing. Although it has been two years I still find it hard to believe he's gone.

Today Jeff would have been 57 years young. Sure miss the old days when we would talk. PM's and all. We will never forget a great friend.
