I been using the EVBot GPU Flasher to upload the new 980Ti Kinping rom but, after I click ok ... I get a couple of seconds of process and then black screen. The black screen keeps like that for ever. I had to reset my PC.

Im using an X99 Classified and a Kingpin 980Ti. The EVBot is brand new. Im running Windows 8.1 Pro.

Help !

For you EVBot users, we now have a way to flash EVBot using the graphics card! An EVGA motherboard is no longer required for flashing.

EVBot GPU Flash 1.0.0.2:
  • Initial release
Graphics Cards Supported:
  • EVGA GeForce GTX 680 Classified
  • EVGA GeForce GTX 580 Classified
  • EVGA GeForce GTX 285 Classified

Windows Installation
  • Download the .zip file below:

  • Connect the EVBot cable to the MB port located on the EVBot device.
  • Connect the other end of the EVBot cable to your graphics card.
  • Extract contents of above .zip file and run EVBotFlashTool.exe
  • Select the bundled .hex file for flashing.
  • Hold down the EVBot POWER button for 7 seconds until you see the EVBot screen display FLASH MODE.
  • Click OK in EVBot Flash Tool to being the flashing process.
  • After flash is complete, unplug EVBot, then plug it back in to any EVBot port.
Warning:
**Do not restart or interrupt your PC while the flash is ongoing

Jacob, could you please possibly help why the flash tool says device not supported when I try to flash via gtx 285 classified? It doesn't open the program and brings that message straight up.

Can anyone tell me why I would need this UEFI bios flash?  Is it for the GPU card, or for the motherboard?  I have a GTX-690 on an MSI motherboard.
