When I was working on my graphic communication technology degree a decade ago I'd always hear about RIT. No idea if they're still relevant now though.

Hey I go to Champlain College in Burlington, VT. Not sure if that is too far from you but the graphic design program here is fantastic. I am a game design major but many of my friends are in Graphic design and champlain really hooks you up with in depth courses and teachers that actually care. They also will do whatever they can to get your foot in the door of the industry whether that means internships or studying abroad to Montreal, Ireland or wherever you want to go they will help you. I highly recommend checking it out!
